Treyarch, there is a HUGE difference between some bugs and glitches to severely broken. There is no excuse for games being released with this many problems. You guys are just trying to cash in on a day on a calendar (while the market is hottest, during the holidays) problems be damn.
This is video sums up how cookie cutter COD has become.

Absolutely incredible!
^dissection completed.
Shift is about as much a sim as COD is a tactical shooter.
Extremely disappointing.
#1 thing for me is amazing environmental sound (5.1 or higher) while playing the game in the dark.
Not one bit.
I gave up on reviews long before this generation even started. I judge for myself. I don't rely on others to decide where I spend my hard earned cash. Besides I rarely ever agree with reviews, good or bad.
I thoroughly enjoyed Killzone 2 and I am expecting Killzone 3 to raise that bar even higher. Most PS3 exclusives do just that.
From a gaming perspective?
PS3 by a landslide.
Edit: disagree until your fingers bleed.
By a landslide! I am a console gamer, not a PC gamer. I own all the current consoles (and nearly every one to ever have been released) and up until 2011 did most of my gaming on the 360. There isn't anything coming out on the 360 till Fall of this year. The PS3 will have all the same multiplat games and 20 plus exclusives. Again, the PS3 will be the best gaming plat...
I guess the same reason people slow down to look at traffic accidents.
I myself don't care for sales charts or most reviews but when I visit this site I click on them any way just to read some of the comments. I think most of it's nonsense but like most people I can't bring myself to turn away from the garbage that is approved on this site.
That is the reason N4G allows it. Because gapers like myself click on the articles and give them hits,...
By your logic sak500, or lack there of, WiiFit and WiiSports are the best games this generation on the best console to boot, the Wii. /s
@Hydrolex
The gaming media is a complete and utter joke. Who cares about the numbers game. KZ3 is probably a fantastic game. 2/22 seems like forever away.
I enjoy hearing a real gamers take on games and you sir have a crazy gamer score. Man do you play a lot. I am surprised you find time to write reviews. ;)
@ Frustrated
Todays gaming media appears to be very forgiven. They hand out 9's and 10's like candy to barely mediocre games. When games score in the low 7's or below it usually isn't a good sign by todays standards.
I just don't want today's tabloid gaming journalist to discourage companies like GG from pouring so much effort into their projects. A lot of developers and publishers are taking the easy way out and cashing in on next to no eff...
Real gamers don't play numbers (sales, reviews or pixel counters), they play games.
Metacritic has about as much credibility as VGChartz.
Well written review Zero!
My little rant but some of the other reviews concerning this particular title:
I really don't know what to even make of the gaming media any more.
One site harps on one thing and another says the complete opposite. It's like they are all playing completely different games. My main gripe being sites nitpicking certain aspects of a game that others get a pass on. There really does appear to be some bias journalist ...
LMS "it's called honesty"
Honesty my ass.
You spammed the same damn message under 5 different Killzone 3 articles in the past hour. You're trolling and nothing more.
double post
Why are you spamming the same damn message under so many Killzone 3 articles?
Man the multi account members are out in full force today.
Come on N4G, break out a broom and do some house keeping.
@Led-Zepplin
And how is your comment any different?
On topic: Why would anyone get rid of a console they currently own just to play a game on a console they don't? Just buy that console and said game and have the best of both (or all) worlds.
@UltimaEnder, you still have not finished Killzone 2? Did you recently purchase a PS3 or did you never get around to completing it?
I am pumped for Killzone 3. This year has already st...
It is NOT the numbers and grades but the inconsistancy that I feel is the problem with gaming reviews.
One game is marked down for a short story. Another game in the same genre gets a pass. One is marked down for lack of innovation, nothing really new added to the title other than the number that follows the title while another is given a pass.
Inconsistancy has always been my gripe with reviews and reviewers.
I need a demo before I would even consider renting it. Every video I have seen or article I have read doesn't look promising.
