Q4 2007 is nothing more than a playful jab, 2008 is when the body blows will thrown in followed by a full out brawl. As the price of system continue to drop the Xbox will be the one fighting for it's life. I still predict a tie though and we'll all be better for it. The problem with Netflix is they simply do not have enough Blurays available for rent. I have both HDDVD and BR and I found that HDDVDs are much easier to get. I'm not sure if they stock more HDDVDs or the demand for BR are too high, but as soon as any BR movies come out it's on the long wait list. Movies like Live Free or Die Hard and that Disney Rat movie is freaking impossible to get now while Transformer is listed as available.
For everytime that last stand is usefull there are seven other times when it isn't worth a damn. It is a noob perk, take something that will make you more combat effective all the time. The key to extending your streaks is to kill kill kill, staying alive for one more kill isn't going to help all that much.
Another problem with last stand is it isn't very effective on the PC. PC users are amazing with their shots and they will follow you down to get credit for the kill. Xbox 36...

The power turns on fine but the light doesn't turn green like it should and this is the Halo 3 edition thats only a few months old!! If you have any clue as to what Bethesda games is all about you'll know that PC version is a must have because of mods. Games like Morrowind and Oblivion already established this. Playing their games without mod support is like playing Halo 3 without the multiplayer, you'll be missing half of the game.
Now if you must buy a console version, I'll go with PS3. With Sony open door policy on mods and user created content this version have the best chance to square up against the PC...

This is what CoD 4 look like on my PC. A real 720p game, and no crappy low res textures like the 360. Depth of field isn't as overblown on the PC to hide low res tetures either. Another benefit on the PC is you can turn depth of field off in multiplayer so you can play with 100% clarity.

One of my concern is how UT 3 will translate to the console. This game isn't like your typical console shooter. It is extremely fast and furious PC shooter and the player can soak up a considerable amount of damage. That means you need to your chaingun trained on someone for a while before they die, not an easy task for dualshock users.

The Darkness? Are you kidding me?? The Darkness powers were cool but they certainly wasn't "badass". To qualify as a badass weapon there must be balance in terms with the other weapons. You can't just give the players the power create a blackhole in the middle of the game that suck away baddies then call it a badass weapon. Its lame thats what it is.

Crysis will not look the same on the consoles, the biggest difference being the textures. No amount of streaming and tweaking will be able to replicate the PC's texture quality on high settings, there simply isn't enough RAM. At best Crysis on the console will be similar to medium settings on the PC and thats with them going nuts with the depth of field effects to conceal blurry textures.
It doesn't matter what console, 512 RAM just isn't enough.
I haven't seen an action adventure game this good since the first Tomb Raider. Ironic because Tomb Raider was one of the second gen games that defined the PS 1, today the PS3 have Uncharted. Unlike shooters and RPGs, a great adventure game only come around once in a couple of years, don't miss it.
