Appleseed 2 on Bluray, it looks awesome.
The Dark Knight is a good movie but it's an over rated as BR tittle depending on your taste. 300 is another terrible BR movie, way to much film grain. Ironically enough one of the best BR tittle is Troy, the image quality is crystal clear. Appleseed is an ungodly good looking BR tittle too if you into anime.
The studios prolly want to get paid for all those movies Netflix is streaming.
You simply don't get it. This is probably the last gen where you'll be able to tell difference between a PC and a console. If Sony and Microsoft is smart, they'll make a move on this vision before Apple clown them both.
In many way the 360 and the PS3 is the trojan for the future living room PC. The only thing holding this vision back is the lack of a viable peripheral like a hand held mouse to make it all work.
The PS3 came out in 2006. You're comparing your comp to a high to mid range PC from two years ago. Thats not very sporting. I don't see what the console fanboys are so upset about anyways the console is becoming more PC like everday, and will continue to do so until it becomes a living room PC.

This game WILL be better than Haze and Lair. You can bank on that. Haze and Lair were epic fails, this game at worst will be just a normal fail...like say Legendary.

XP did not happen over night and the transition from Windows 3.1 to XP was a long and painful one. It looks like Vista is now playing the role of this gen's ME to Windows 7.

The comparison to Second Life is invalid. Second Life is a MMO with a persistent world where you can walk from one location into another. Home is a series of disconnected instances. You can't walk from your house to the plaza and you can't walk from the plaza to the mall. You merely port from one instance to the next via your PDA.

Where are the ruins? I hope there isn't too many urban environments in Uncharted 2, thats not what the franchise is about. I want see more ancient temples and places to explore.

He hated everything about it and had to be pulled kicking and screaming by Lucas and Ford into the project. He hated revisiting the franchise that he considered to be finished, and he hated the alien plot even worst and it showed in the movie. His heart just wasn't in it.

Insert a BR movie into your player. Watch the uberness. If you can't notice the difference or how it is "worth it" then you're f*cking blind. I can't imagine why anyone with a good 1080p HDTV would not want a Bluray player.
