games as a service has nothing to do with micro transactions, its about keeping creating games that have legs for years

I and millions of other people prefer 4k discs compared to streaming 4k, its night and day, 4k disc will always look better.
the 4k blueray player alone is worth it, at that price you can get the xbox one s and a ps4 and have both
my point is that both companies screwed up multiple times, does it really matter if ms screwed up 12 times and sony screwed up 9 times, not really. the ps2 was unstoppable because of the success of the ps1 and sony was churning out original games on ps1 and ps2 and they where both wildly successful but then they started making some mistakes with the ps3 and ps4 but same applies to ms with the red ring of death and other blunders
both ps4 and ps4 took 4 for ps3 and 3 for ps4...
lets see, sony tell you to get a second job and buy a 500 to 600 dollar ps3, and then they remove the backward compat from the fat ps3. it took sony 4 years to start pumping out decent games on the ps3 since many of the first big titles flopped like lair and a few others. then they release a ps4 and are the first ones out with a half assed mid gen console in the pro.

i really dont get it, i do get the fact that people love nintendo games. I love mario and mariokart, donkey kong, metroid etc.... and nintendo is about fun and the games they create are usually entertaining and good games which do bring people back to the fold when they release a new system or game. If you want to play the newest nintendo games then you need a switch to play and enjoy them and people will do just that even if its just to play the new games from nintendo that always seem to do...
doom is a mess on the switch and doesnt look all that great but decent enough for a handheld
over rated and not your type of game are 2 different things, when a game sells 22 million copies chances are if you dont like it , its not your type of game. over rated would mean everyone is playing it but the game actually sucks and pubg doesnt suck but it for sure isnt everyone type of game.
