thanks guys for the response, i was actually curious and did not know, im totaly against pay to win, i do think micro transactions that are cosmetic are ok but that leads a slippery slope. I didnt think gaas was the issue as i thought gaas meant ways to add value and longevity to a game through dlc and other means without the need for pay to win MT
i fully get that and im against the pay to win but im asking is where does it say that games as a service means lootboxes
not naive, just asking since no one can show me proof that GAAS has anything to do with lootboxes
i want someone to show me where GAMES AS A SERVICE has anything to do with lootboxes and microtransactions
from what we have been told Games As A Service means for them to extend the life of a game by adding more content over time and other ways of keeping players coming back for more.
any device that needs to be worn, that locks out the users around you, that is cumbersome with wires and limited game experiences is not the future, maybe in the future like 5 years from now it will become more popular then it is now , it will never become the main way people play . psvr is dead as dead as vita is, sure it has a pulse but thats about it.
oh so vita is alive and doing well, just like psvr???
watching sony destroy psvr like they did vita first hand is a wild ride, a long slow painful death that will drag on for 3 years before people admit its been dead for 3 years with articles popping up on how the psvr is still alive and kicking because some crappy game came out after a year
does it matter if we can see the difference, it should only matter if the sony fans who saw a massive difference between 1080p on ps4 and 900 p on xbox og all of a sudden cant see a difference now between ps4 pro and xbox one x, because now its more then resolution, its textures, 4k assets and much more.
so which is it, is there a massive difference now or was the last 4 years where sony fans could see the huge difference between 1080p and 900P a illusion in their brains
i wasnt trying to insult you at all, i totally got what you said, i wasnt trying to come off that way, it was a global res ponce, not directed at you
where you saying that though ABOUT THE ABISMAL CPU in the pro
everyone knows by the now the pro is a half assed mid gen upgrade. thank god sony has good exclusives because without them they wouldnt be around for long
to what psvr owners, the 3 people that still use it. psvr is dead man
but the ps5 will be a next gen console, no one is going to say omg the ps5 is killing the x1x, its suppose to because the ps5 will be next gen and not a mid gen. jesus some people arent to bright on this site
as a game console it shits all over pro, as a console the x is much better. but when it comes to exclsuives sony has the upper hand. thats why its best to own both the pro and a x1x
wow your brilliant. the og xbox came out after the ps2 was already doing well. it wasnt going to catch up, but it did well enough to cause a spike for the 360 when that went on sale
gravity rush really, 3 people bought that game, persona 5 while great is another game no one bought, yakuza, another game no one is going crazy for. lots of exclusives but only a handful of ones that matter.
so far 4 games recieved a patch after the patch to address issues so i would wait a week and after all its just a patch to games that already released so we cant expect every dev and engine to patch so easily. going forward as games are made using the x we will see much better results
the ps4 is the better choice if you like sony's exclusives which even if you dont its worth getting a ps4 to play them because there are many good games to be played. Now if your a gamer then you would want all the systems, for some the xbox is their choice and sony for others. For 399 you can have both systems right now
im an average gamer and I spend a lot more then most hardcore people ever would, most of the people i know are also average gamers at best and buy everything that comes out like me
actually pubg is 30 during beta, no word on the final version yet
