Yeah, and the comment from this MS guy that said PS5 can't cost more than 499$ basically confirmed XSX will be priced the same or higher because in his eyes PS5 isn't worth more. And this constant talk about power? It's all smoke and mirrors to justify exactly that, the price.

My first thought. Straight into XSX launch bundle.
It's not as easy as you think, especially for publicy traded company like CDPR. With a large and long project like Cyberpunk, there is plenty unknown variables along the way i.e.: Covid-19, new tech, etc. They need release dates to earn and keep the trust of stakeholders. I would prefer to invest in a transparent company that pushes the dates slightly than in one that doesn't share any info about the progress.
Yeah, but why is it important and why it suddenly needs to be transformative? And you didn't 'expound' anything, Digital Foundry did. You just repeated it. My point still stands. It wasn't possible before and now it will be. Do you somehow feel threatened by this? Why the downplay? And PS5 as a whole has a huge chance to be transformative, especially with the controller and hyper ssd.
How other games can pull someone away if that someone wants to play GT? If you're a fan of something, nothing will pull you away. That's the power of exclusive games.
Well, they were boasting about future-proofing and car models being prepered in 8k during GT Sport development. They even showed GT in 8k at some point to show off some Sony TVs. So yeah, it'll be PS4 assets, but with higher quality. I hope for proper PSVR support this time too. GT Sport had too little.

What competition? GT is available only on PlayStation.
Xbox owners will buy XSX and Playstation owners will buy PS5. It's that simple. Hard to imagine anyone daily driving PS4 to suddenly buy XSX instead of PS5. There is no reason, especially now when most PS4 titles will be BC. Price is important but difference would have to be larger than 50$ to skew anyone from PS5. Sony has too many great games. And do not underestimate DualSense controller. You'll see how awesome it is.
