L1 + LS is all you have to master. It's not hard, it's just not so easy to pick up and play.
But they had to use ssd. Whole intro is real time on PS5. On old gen it's a video because it wouldn't be possible to load so fast.

I do not agree with this. For me there is simply no comparison in technical complexity between the games you mentioned. Crossifre X looks miles way simpler, and still failed.

What do you mean it's not permanent? I can start 1st level with all my permanent upgrades. That's exactly how you should make progress. More tools, less dying.

I guess it was too hard? I myself am loving the game. Feels very rewarding once you get the grasp of the core and the rythm. I can see how learning curve might be too steep for some, though. You definitely need to be a fan of fighting games with this one. But if you are, you will have a hard time with putting it away :D. I can't stop playing it.
What combat? You mean this button mashing with stamina control?
I'm pretty sure Bungie has some amazing backend tech for gaas games that we don't know about. You don't pay 4bil just for Destiny.

I think the consesus is it's a strong 7/10 or weak 8/10. Not too bad. Foundation is there and Techland will expand on it.

I received my PS5 copy early today. Patch 1.0003 popped up to download. I've had one hard crash in the first hour, though
