This is the weirdest review ever. The guy's not judging the game from his perspective but from what other reviewers failed to mention before scoring the game with a perfect 10/10. In other words, he wrote a review focusing in nitpicking...

FFX far more girly than FFXIII? Are you kidding me?
Just with Serah and Vanille FFXIII is automatically the girliest FF game yet... And not to mention that the principal character's a girl and the same with the antagonist. Did you even watch the latest trailer of FFXIII? That was the very definition of emo, FFX never went that far into that sh1t.
And if you like the Starwarish setting of FFXIII then you must have loved FFXII, worst FF game yet...

Now if it only had backward compatibility the PS3 would be so perfect that the competition would be redundant and the slogan "it does everything" would have even more meaning to it.
But thanks to these people buying the freaking God of War pack like crazy the chances of having BC back on PS3 it's now reduced to 0%. Why would they add BC to the PS3 when they can still make lots of money re-selling them again for $40? People are so stupid...

Some people will think that he's bashing the PS3 but he is not. In fact, at the end he shows a couple of pics with an effect of motion blur that he says it was pioneered by Uncharted 2 and Killzone 2 that makes lower resolution screens look sharper than HD.
PS2 version has 16:9 and 480p support while the GC version is only 480p. The GC version will look clearer because the 480p it's native (the PS2 version is supported through software) but if you're playing on a widescreen tv then it'll look like crap anyway.
So PS2 version is the recommended just because of the additional 16:9 support.

@Antan. Screen tearing is a problem with Vsync not framerate. MGS4 framerate varies between 30to60 depending in the amount of action and you don't see any screen tearing. Here's a link for you: http://en.wikipedia.org/wik...
And the tearing could be from the video itself and not the game. Nobody ever mentioned screen tearing on their previews of GT5.

I don't understand... How come we can play so many FPS online for free and when it comes to games like this we always have to pay? Uncharted will have co-op and competitive, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 has some online modes too and what about Resistance 2 were the multiplayer it's so massive? All of them free.
The game's so good (or at least the multiplayer) that I have been playing the beta for like 4 hours straight now.
They sound decent. Not as good as Uncharted and definitely not as good as the original japanese voice over. But after seeing this trailer so many times only one thing is clear... I'm not so hyped about this game anymore.

One thing is being a gamer and other thing is being a fool. Anybody that had only an Xbox for last gen is a fool. To say that you not regret it, is plain stupid...
I can see someone only owning one console this gen because the Wii has lots of first party tittles, the PS3 has lots of games and the X360 has lots of games too but for last gen all the games were on the PS2.
This is the first gen ever were all the consoles are doing fine from a sales and amount of quality...
