At the end of the day, a site may say that certain games are good, but who cares, it's just a writer's opinion on what they think was great.

Do I need to say more? If everybody had that same thought nobody would be on N4G right now, or in the internet where everything you read is an opinion of someone else.
The first one was decent. The second was amazing. And the third was silly but it had one if not the best turn-based battle system ever created. So amazing that FFXIII is incorporating some of its aspects. Like for example: the launchers and combo system.
The first 2 shared a story but it had an end. The third was a restart (well it was the same world but in a different time and place) but the story was so silly that they should simply restart it again... Like FF.
These are all great recommendations. Good article. And I hope someone from insomniac reads it... =)
I find this article funny because he is tired of so many kiddy games on the Wii so he bought an Xbox, while I'm tired of so much shooting and violence and now I want a Wii to play Mario and all those great games from Nintendo.
I haven't even bought Uncharted 2 because of that. I don't want to kill people anymore, I want to take a break from that! After playing Killzone 2 so much these past 2 weeks my life changed. lol
As soon as I saw the first 4 games on the first page I knew the list was gonna be so fail that the #1 was going to be FFVII. From all the list I only agree with one game and that is "Chrono Cross", the rest? =Fail

We'll need to know a lot about the console's hardware, more than just its raw power to really find the answer to that. This is a complex matter that shouldn't be talked by noobs. The problem is, who we should believe? Lots of devs have said that the X360 and PS3 are equal in power when games like Uncharted 2 prove the statement wrong. Could it be their inexperience? I don't know but this is something we shouldn't be talking about anymore. Too much speculation leads to bigger misunderstandings...
@GUNS N SWORDS, you're missing on a couple of details like:
#1 the PS3 CPU doesn't use core but 8 SPE's while the X360 has 3 cores that
#2 the Cell has direct access to the GPU to help with the physics, sound, and certain animations(example: all water effects in Uncharted were rendered by one SPE while on the Xbox360 that same technique wouldn't work because its CPU doesn't has Spe's so, all the work would be on the CPU)

The sad thing is that nothing in this blog matter, the fact that this site is infected with Sony fanboys is its #1 downfall. I understand what you're trying to achieve with this but the fact that anything negative toward Sony means a bubbles loss and a disagree make every remark irrelevant. And this comes from someone that only has a PS3 and have been always a Sony follower since the PSX. I am something very close to a PS3 fanboy.

I would be happy if devs made the multiplat at least equal for both consoles. But no, the PS3's more powerful but it always gets shifted by devs and then they make bad ports like the mess that it is Bayonetta... Which its gameplay is good. It is like MS is paying them(devs) to put more care on their version or something...

And about the 1080p comment, I been thinking about that since it was first announced that the game ran at 720p. I was like: Why the f!@$ are they making a PS2 game run at 720p on the PS3 when the console is capable of render it at 1080p!

It looks the same but now without jaggies, a little bit clearer and real 16:9. Not the 16:9 support that the PS2 had that made the characters look thin.
I haven't bought Uncharted 2 because I'm really tired of so much shooting. And I only can buy one game, and I don't know which to buy between Demon's Souls and the new Ratchet & Clank. ;_;
I know that Ratchet & Clank is a shooter but it is so much fun and the stages are so pretty and creative!

Yeah, I'm latin and I can confirm that there's nothing bigger than KOF in latin america and spain when it comes to 2D fighting games. I do not think that @PELVIC THRUST ACTION is saying by "nationality" but for what most players of that specific area play.
