Articles like this are retarded. No game is Game of the Year until voting has finished AT THE END OF THE YEAR. Why do people write stuff like this? IT just makes you look stupid. We know it's going to be a great game but don't ask stupid questions like this.
I agree with you, but people will always want to justify their purchase by saying that their product is the best. Not to mention that much of gamings audience are stupid 13 year olds that say things like "NEW TRAILER GOTY CONFIRMED" after seeing a trailer, instead of people who are actual fans of video games as an entertainment medium which doesn't help.
Why do people even play these games?

I'm going to take Adobe's side on this one. Apple is just being stubborn and/or lazy by not figuring out a way to make flash work. Especially with the iPad coming out, which is in some ways a substitute to a netbook. Without flash, you can't view 80% of things on the internet (an exaggeration, but you get the point.) I'm expecting thousands of stupid consumers to pick up an iPad only to angrily complain to Apple after realizing that half of the things they want to see won't display.

I think that Natal will outsell Arc, but in the end I think that they are both gimmicks and won't be anything worthwhile so it doesn't matter. I couldn't care less about which company makes more money off their motion sensing crap.

And people always say you can build a good gaming PC for $x amount. That fact is rendered irrelevant by many peoples total inability to use/take advantage of a PC. Many people are clueless about updating drivers and troubleshooting a PC. The fact of the matter is that console gaming is easier for most people and more convenient.
Has it occurred to you that consoles get all the glory because they are more popular than PC gaming nowadays? I'm a fan of PC gaming, but even I won't admit that it's dying very slowly. Many of the major game releases are built for consoles, and while yes, they will always look better on a PC, more people enjoy playing games from their couch. Not to mention the fact that many people don't know di*k about computers and how to troubleshoot, etc.
