I agree, and anyone with the name DeathMetal must be pretty goddamn smart \m/. And to add on to my other point, upgrading your hardware every 5 years or so (if that) is comparable to buying a new console, except you most likely don't need to replace every piece of hardware inside a PC. I'm surprised people still write articles like this... There may not be as many flagship exclusives as there used to be since consoles have seen a huge surge in popularity over the last few years, but the PC will always be around for gaming, and I will get most multiplats on PC, since they are better looking, have mods, and all the other reasons that people always list.

Who gives a shit? People who don't have a 360 can't play Forza. People who don't have a PS3 can't play GT5. People who do have a 360 and are into driving sims have most likely played Forza. People who only own a PS3 are excited for GT5. People who own a 360 and PS3 are probably STILL excited for GT5, even though they have most likely played Forza. Why are people acting so surprised over the really good scores? I thought the Castlevania for PS2 was really good and only suffered from repetitive level design. With Kojima working on this and from what we've seen so far, 9's really shouldn't be a surprising score.

I agree with parts of your post. Saying what consoles produce is embarrassing is stupid though. There have been some totally awesome games on consoles this generation. I couldn't care less about the resolution of a game, as long as it's a fun game to play.
