Anyone who would sit through and play those games for trophies has no life. No shitty game is worth playing for trophies. SINCE THEY DON'T MATTER AT ALL.

Nothing says they can't just add a new place to the map. Or make it a significant amount of time in the past/future in a different part of the world or when the landscape was different, etc, etc.
While I expect this to be a great game, I find it hard to believe that it will change the industry.

So now games that get 8s are in the sewers... I hate people who act like an 8 is a terrible score. Gamers are such a fickle bunch. Its too bad the game isn't deserving of 10s, but an 8 is still a solid score. I can't think of another franchise with 15 entries that is still getting good review scores.
Nothing is future proof. Especially computers and hardware.
