Agreed and very well said. This has been apparent to me since I found out that PC ports are done so quickly with DX12.
It means more people accessing games through the Steam portal, which in turn may help with more sales. I could of course be wrong but that is my thought.
I am glad I waited on LOTF, looked ok but not full price ok.
