Alpha Male, they are killing the original Xbox Live service to add features to Xbox 360 Live that were not possible before. I really think they can add things like a universal clan system and the one we can all expect, bigger friend's list. Who knows what else they can add.

Van-essa, you are right. Sorry, Naughty Dog is owned by Sony. But you guys get my point with Insomniac and Sony --> Bungie and Microsoft.

Just because Bungie is independent doesn't mean they will make a multiplatform game. They are to Microsoft what Naughty Dog and Insomniac are to Sony. If you're really praying for a multiplatform Bungie game (not PC) I'd calm down if I were you. Bungie knows where they're fanbase is and I don't think Microsoft would allow Bungie to make a PS3 game.

The only one I want is Dragon Quest X. That should of made it to the PS3.

I agree with Lord Vader. They need to fix the lag. I'm actually playing Gears 1 multiplayer right now (trying to get Seriously ...) because the Gears 2 multiplayer is god awful except for the coop campaign and Horde mode. Don't care for matchmaking or join servers, as long as we have a working online component it's all good.

I think you need to wait for E3 in order to see Microsoft's full support. But you have to admit, they got quite a few key names, mainly Kojima.

I think the even bigger selling point of UE3 is that it's cheap. How much would it cost a developer to license CE3?

You forgot Haze. I know it was made by Free Radical, but Ubisoft kept it PS3 exclusive.

I thought it was kind of ironic that people complain about games being the same: "Oh it's just another Halo" or "Oh it's just another COD" So here we have Ubisoft changing the direction of Splinter Cell and suddenly everyone is pissed. It's like, what exactly do you want? When Capcom changed the direction of Resident Evil with RE4, no one seemed to care about that change, but suddenly with Splinter Cell it matters lol.

Old G4 was the best. I frikkin' loved Arena. I remember they played the original COD on PC as well as other games like mechwarrior. Man watching that was the best. Step back and think about how different gaming would be if Nintendo agreed to the Sony deal. Without the existence of the PlayStation, Xbox would never come to be as it was the main reason Microsoft got into the console market. They were afraid that one day the PlayStation would replace the computer (in some ways it has with all these media capabilities and even has a browser). Crazy when you really think about it and even kind of scary.
