I am hyped for this one. I got Fallout vibes and I love Fallout.
Update: just finished watching the new 8 min gameplay video. I saw alot of refined melee, dodging attacks from enemies, and even stealth attacks on enemies. I welcome that.
I hear you but I am a little worried that it might feel TOO similar to Dead Space and it might not blow our socks off, instead just playing it safe with a tried and true formula.
A positive take from me. It's better for them to delay their library then to release (originally meant for 2022) Starfield or other games unfinished and go down the Cyberpunk 2077/BF2042 path. You really don't want that mess on your hands. I think they know Xbox fans have been okay. This year, they got big titles like Elden Ring and MW2 and a bunch of 3rd party games to kinda hold them over. For the fans, also a good time to take advantage of their backlogs or find gems on Game Pass. ...
If by original formula you mean classes, they will be bring those back soon.
I know it's cool to hate on this game but I can't lie, I was having fun on 128 player Rush. It was choatic fun. The game has gotten better, especially the new maps Exposure and Stranded. Also ICYMI, they will be bringing back classes. I have not lost hope for this game just yet.

These aren't just random ads though. Showcasing games on a gaming console actually makes sense. My thing is, I wish there was more open space to show the background more. They said the new dash won't be out until 2023, so here's hoping they get enough feedback to change a few things.
Why not just add performance modes ... ? Sometimes you can't tell the difference because you sit far away enough from your TV/monitor. Just give console gamers that choice. I'll probably go the PC route if the game does not offer such options.

Probably the most underrated feature about the newer Xbox consoles is how you can turn them into full blown emulation stations. Good stuff.

When I saw the Series S numbers in Japan, I was shocked how good they were. Seems to be paying off overall. Pandemic really dented peoples pockets so $300 was a good price point.
The fact that there is no US price increase lets you know that Sony only doing it in markets they are dominating because had they done it in the US, they'd be losing sales. So they are doing it knowing they can get away with it. Cmon Sony.. they see what you're doing.
