Probably because the people who disagreed with him think that the Country series made by Rare was far superior. I haven't played DKCR yet, but I will say this. I loved DKC 2 + 3. Yeah but this game was being touted to be one of the best racing games ever only to fall short. One thing people forget to remember is, Turn 10 actually comes out looking like geniuses. They called them out and based of reviews and what people are saying, GT5 wasn't as big as they hoped it would be. I only like the fact that I don't get noob tubed every game or commando knifed by a guy with lightweight and marathon and sniping is non-existant (I hate snipers) They fixed it up quite a bit. They need to fix the spawning, especially on Nuketown.

Yes, people still do play. It has a small dedicated following. I used to play a lot of 3 vs 3 with my two other friends. We had a great team and we had great strategies. Halo Wars is a great console RTS. If you're looking into getting into the genre, this is a great game to pick up and start off with.
Well it's a good thing their FPS's don't fit Kinect's bills. I'm not looking to play existing games with tacked on motion controls.
