Week 1 - 550,000
Week 2 - 300,000
Week 3 - 240,000
Total - 1.09m
Spot on if you ask me (if you include the old model PS3s still being cleared as well)

Seems that despite EA making so many losses in the last 2 years they are still by far the most successful third party on every platform.
It doesn't "only" sell in America - it does sell the majority in America though. Halo 3 sold like 73% of its total in America so 1.35m works out at roughly 1.85m worldwide.

Metal Gear Series sold 4.75m - that includes PSP Metal Gear games, PS2 collection, MGS 3 and so on.
GT5: Prologue has sold 4 million but that includes download sales - this just covers retail sales.
We need to wait 3-4 months before really seeing the effect of PS3 slim

You need to learn to read! The VGChartz projections are made BEFORE NPD comes out, just like the one they did this month. Then the NPD data comes out and matches up almost perfectly.
Then Fanboys on N4g claim that the site makes the data up because it doesn't show them what they want to see.
