Sorry to ask a noob question but is the "massive" trailer the same as the Holloween trailer?
I'm buying Spiderman Trilogoy/ Pirates Trilogy/ Live Free Die Hard/ Simpsons Movie/ Ratatouille & Cars just this season before the end of the year. That's 10 movies. Not to mention early next year I'll be getting all the WB movies like Matrix Trilogy and Batman Begins, just to name a few!!
Nothing I don't want just to support Blu-ray...they're just great films!
I bet the 1080p on Xbox is UPSCALED 1080p not NATIVE 1080p. There is a difference, and for some reason Xbox games will say "1080p support" on the back of the game box but will fail to mention that this is upscaled 1080p. The only 2 games that are native 1080p on the 360 is "Virtua Tennis" and "NBA Street: Home Court". And the box actually says "Native 1080p". The PS3 also upscales games to 1080p but the games only advertise "NATIVE" resolu...
You have Tekken 5 DR, which was a PS2/PSP game, not a true next-gen game. Wait for Tekken 6 and that should be more comparable to VF and DOA.
This is a day one purchase for me!! The game graphics look amazing, animations are smooth, gameplay looks solid, and story is compelling...can you ask for anything more?!

The 360 had an almost simultaneous world wide launch, launching in US first then in Europe in Japan only WEEKS after. The PS3 didn't launch in Europe untill almost 4 months after the US, so considering the numbers, I think the PS3 is doing fairly well!
What you played in the demo is the first level, so yeah, it is supposed to be easy so you can get used to the controls...but once you start on level 2 and onward, it gets harder. Plus you can unlock a harder dificulty level once you beat the game. I got this game yesterday and I'm having a blast!!

around the 20th of November if I'm not mistaken...hopefully it won't get delayed, I'm for sure picking this up as well! Loved the arcade versions!
The more and more these great reviews come out, the more and more Gamespot loses credibility!
BTW...I got my copy of RCF:TOD today at noon at my local EB Games....and they were already sold out. (had mine reserved)
You played the Pro-Street demo?! on PS3? from where? I'd like to play it too, I haven't seen it on PSN.

I'm buying these games on day 1, especially Uncharted...I'm even gonna pick up Time Crisis 4 in Nov if it isn't delayed, but I'm really really hoping for a 2007 release for UT3!!!
I'm also gonna have to agree on Ace Combat. The graphics are killer, and very realistic, but I played the demo on my friend's XBox 360 and truthfully I found it somewhat boring. I'd rather be in a Warhawk or Nemesis!
most of those functions I can get with Warhawk...so midway isn't making any sense!
not just a random developer but the CEO of Activision said this...which by the way is in no way a "small a** company"...they're the ones behind guitar hero and COD4, one of the most anticipated multiplatform titles this year!
