I tried the demo, and while it is very similar to MS1, there are differences. For example the bunny hop you can do on bikes; much longer and higher jumps; Monster trucks are interesting; and the fire and water elements which weren't present in the demo but will be in the game. (i didn't hit the disagree button btw)
I guess Tarasque is rich. I completely agree w/1.6 My money is hard-earned as well, and money is money. I'll be picking up the game with the headset, and if for any reason the game is not to my liking, i'll just sell it. If it sells for any amount over $10, i'm saving money on the AAA headset. That's the way I look at it cause i don't have money laying around to spend more on "something i believe in" when i can get it for less!!

Just announced: the official date of MotorStorm 2 is OCT 28 not Oct 3rd like i thought. So now I'll have plenty of time to enjoy Wipeout!!!
Only the 360 Elite comes w/headset AND HDMI....the Premium comes w/headset but no HDMI...and the Arcade has neither.

Rock band drums are also "Velocity Sensitive". Dont forget you'll have the option of attaching up to 3 cymbals, and also use 2 foot pedals. Of course those are sold seperately but at least the option is there.

You forgot the ability to play HD movies. Last year, when the 360 was $399 you also had the option of buying HD DVD add on for another $179. On top of all the accessories you just mentioned and it turned out to be a loosing format! Plus not to mention $50 a yr for online play!!! I just can't understand how people can't see that logic or can't think about the long run.
u think getting 55 songs for $5 is a rip off? I don't. I'll just do the transfer, pay $5, and get at least $20 for the RB1 disk after i sell it!
next week i'll see for myself if Pure is really looking better than MotorStorm 2. I doubt that it is.

i'm pretty good at Warhawk, but not good enough to ever be a General...i just don't have that much time. I've had the game for almost a year now and i'm barely a 1st lieutenant...long way away from a General! lol I'm never getting that Warhawk Platinum...oh well, at least i got the Uncharted one!

nope, NA has had them for about 3 weeks also. We got them one or two days after europe. And they're fun as hell to collect!
Almost all my games are ps3 exclusives except for a few multiplats....like Rock Band and Soul Calibur 4. Other than that my games are: Resistance; Warhawk; GT5 Prologue; MGS4; Heavenly Sword; UNCHARTED (all time fav); Ratchet and Clank; and i'm not even gonna mention all the PSN games i have!
U should really check out Uncharted. It truly is one of the best games i've ever played, plus you'll start gettin some trophies!
MotorStorm 2 and Socom. Can't forget those PS3 Exclusives. Possibly Wipeout HD by the end of the year aswell.
Motorstorm 1 was a launch title...came out in 2006. MS2 = 2008. They've had 2 yrs to redefine the graphics engine, so yeah i think that's a substantial amount of time to do this in. Not only that but Evolution Studios have themselves stated that they had to rebuild the graphics engine from the ground up, so they could get 4 player split screen and reduce the loading times.....this is coming straight from the developers mouths.
