When GT5 comes out, I'm certain the PS3 will get a solid 500,000 unit bump in sales or more. I think the PS3 will sell over 2 million between December and the end of January.
Yeah, I knew it had to have done pretty good. It's been pretty high on Amazon videogame bestsellers list for awhile. People are starting to realize that having a superior online does not trump having more quality exclusives. (The Last Guardian, InFamous 2, Agent, Twisted Metal, DC Universe Online, FF Versus 13, FF 14, GT5, etc.) People cannot ignore great games. And, PSN is catching up to Live pretty quickly. I'd be willing to bet the PS4 will have a party system and cross game ...

Agree with all of that. I also want PS2 classics to start appearing on the PS Store to be able to play on our PS3's (via firmware update) AND on the PSP2. I want to play San Andreas on my PSP2. I also hope the PSP2 has L1,L2,R1,R2 as well as dual analogs for full PS2 compatibility when playing its games. I basically want it to look like a Dualshock with a screen in the middle, but flattened out and thin enough to put in my pocket. The screen should be about the same size as the PSP 3...
Actually, Microsoft needs more new IP's. Sony has done a great job of coming up with new IPs this gen. LittleBigPlanet, Heavy Rain, The Last Guardian, ModNation Racers, Agent, etc. (btw, I just bought me a 360 250gb slim and have enjoyed playing it all this week , so don't call me a fanboy. This is the truth.) Microsoft's big three games (Halo, Fable, Gears) cannot be their gaming Triumvirate forever. They need NEW IP's badly!

Edit: Oh yeah, use all 50gb on blu ray and then port it to 360. As long as they do that, I have no problem with it being multiplatform. BTW, I just bought me a 360 Slim a couple days ago. My first 360 ever. It's a decent system, really.

Hell to the yeah, man. I miss being able to put in cheat codes the easy way like that instead of having to go through the trouble of pulling up your cell phone in GTA4 and doing it that way. I remember in Vice City where I'd keep putting in the tank code and keep spawning them until the whole screen was full of them and it started to lag. lol Good times.
It depends on how much money Sony throws at them. You've also got to remember that Sony has had a very close relationship with Rockstar for years. Never say never, man. I for one am hoping for the impossible to happen so I can have a REAL GTA game, one more akin to San Andreas.
I want a GTA to take full advantage of the PS3's hardware and ALL 50gb of blu ray space. I want an open world experience more akin to San Andreas where it had a HUGE map and HUGE mountain to jump from. There were so many side missions to do. You could work out and improve your running stamina. GTA 5 exclusive to PS3 announced with a GTA Collection exclusive to PS3 on one blu ray disc with GTA 3, Vice City, and San Andreas on it for $40 would be a huge win. Hell Yeah!!
I want the PSP2 to be exactly like that picture. I want a Dualshock with a screen. I want it to be able to play PS2 classics available throught the PS Store (and be able to play those PS2 classics on my PS3 too). And I want it to have cell phone functionality through a major carrier so it can play online anywhere through a 3G service.

Dude, I'd rather play a GTA HD Collection with GTA 3, Vice City, and San Andreas any day over the newest GTA (GTA 4), which was complete shit. They went backwards from San Andreas. San Andreas has more things to do including working out which actually affected your running stamina, which was cool as hell.
It's because people like to nitpick on the PSP when in actuality it's a great handheld. I completely agree that the 3DS should have been given a second analog. I seriously hope the PSP2 has two analogs. I'd like to see a PSP2 that's basically a Dualshock with a screen.
It WILL be released before Christmas. There's no way Sony will lose out on all those sales.
