Sony came with a decent Ad for once. And good timing too, I was really diggin that 360 ad with the kids singing then I saw this cool ad from Sony and my jaw just dropped, MS betta bring their A game because Sony isn't screwing around anymore.
Just b/c a game that has no multiplayer doesn't mean it has no replay value. MGS's or GTA's never really had multiplayer but I and most other people still play em. I can't say much about people returning Rachet and Clank, but i doubt b/c of replay value.

Regardless Sony's 2008 list looks unreal compared to xbox 360's even though MS might have sumthing up their sleeve but i still dont see anything even comparing to Sony's lineup. Speaking of Getaway3 and 8 Days people dont forget about 2 days 2 Vegas, this game looks really good and is PC PS3 only now. POG is just pissed b/c i exposed most of the untrue negative stereotypes about the PS3. I just dont understand them, its like they have this outlook that MS can do no wrong and Sony is evil and and must die, its quite comical and im just toying with their emotions.
Failure I mean its selling at the same pace as the 360 last year at a higher price and no games(as so they say). It has sold a horrendous 5.5 mil in 10 months at a similar pace as the two other failures PS1 and PS2. And crappy games like Uncharted MGS4 KZ2 UT3 FFXIII look like garbage. And knowledgeable gaming experts such as The Mart,Bloodmask etc claim its the next 3D0 so it must be true. And with this article PS3 is lookin to be a failure.

Im in the same position as you. I never owned a PS2 or PS1 and had an xbox and liked it and was looking forward too the future, then Microshit suddenly unveils the 360 and gave me and tons of others the good ol screw job. Then i just said to myself ya'know what if MS wants to jump ship and release consoles every 3-4 like that they dont deserve my hard earned cash and thats when I jumped to Sony.
Now finally my cheap ass can get a PS3. Thanx Sony.
IGN previewed GTA 4 they dissed the game bad, saying the framerate was horrendous, textures were bad and it really did look unfinished and questioned whether it would come out on time. Also dont forget they have to fit this on a DVD-9 and I hear MS has a new compression program for 2008. So i think the delay is true. But your theory doesn't sound too outta the park either so i guess we'll just hafta wait and see.
with their amount of SKU's but there is a difference between what they are doing and Microsoft. All PS3's have HDMI, Blu Ray and a HDD and the only differences between them are HDD size, EE, and Card Readers. Meanwhile the 360 SKU's are all over the place as in one w/o HDMI, another SKU w/o a HDD, and SKU's w/o Wifi and then they wanna charge u 100 bucks for Wifi. So tell me who's getting more screwed here?
Thank the Lord! I used to like Madden and all but the game has gotten so god damn stale its disgusting. I can't wait for this contract to end to open up doors for 2K, and other football games so I can see some damn variety and to finally get EA off their lazy asses and make better football games.
