A sony console with a new format, that was bashed, and had slow sales the first year, with sales rising going into its 2nd year....no it couldn't be could it? This is looking familiar, like around 6-7 yrs ago familiar. Maybe this could possibly be deja vu all over again? IDK just a thought.
the original Halo earlier today. I still don't see whats so great about it. The single player almost put me to sleep literally, and the multiplayer was nice but i've had better experiences with plenty of other games. IMO the game deserves to be on the most overrated list.

I disagree with you, in that a big franchise game thats crap won't sell. Many consider Halo 3 as crap and did not live up to the hype but did that stop that from selling? Thats like saying if GTA4 is crap it won't sell, its gonna sell regardless. Big franchises sell units and sony has a lot of them ready to dish out in 08, end of story.

Your not the only one who nearly forgot. I love GTA and I think GTA4 will be kick ass but games like Getaway, 2D2V, 8 Days, LA Noire, look too impressive to ignore (well atleast for me) and my attention is sorta shifting towards them even though im buying GTA4 day one. So your not the only one.

IMO, When the average joe begins to understand and adopts to HD, thats when the Wii will suffer and 360/PS3's 2008 lineup isn't favoring on the wii side neither, not to mention price drops, so i think maybe late 2008/mid 2009 or even earlier Wii's momentum should have a sharp decreases in sales.
