Yep, glad I waited.
With this business model for the current gen and future gen for pubs it's simply better waiting for the complete game for a fraction of what it'll cost you to buy the games at release +locked DLC+ future DLC. You also avoid the many bugs from the rushed unfinished version. Why are we paying THEM to beta test their game?

I love it. Gamers who just want good games to play can play on their current system and those gamers who were just looking for a new coat of paint can spend the money to do so.

Because when you place a number behind the title people start expecting the game to play like the other versions and lose their minds when the devs want to try something new. This gives them the freedom to do as they please without hearing all the whines.
After you have established a name for your franchise it's a much safer bet to go with subtitles ala COD does.

Honest question: how much skill is needed to point and click? Does the mouse not stop when you stop it? Is there a wrist skill I'm missing? Just how hard is it to move the cursor over his face and click?
I'm not trying to insult, but I keep hearing how skillful you have to be to game on pc but it only seems to be in fps's where you can point and click your way to a quick victory.

The souls series is by far one of my fav and with what they are doing with the Witcher series it seems upgrading early will finally be worth it!
