At the moment, yes. Since the release of the Xbox, PS3 and Wii people have now been able to play against each other online without having to buy an extremely expensive gaming PC which you need to upgrade every few months along with all the computer knowledge, for years its always been just you and you alone and the occasional friend for a co-op game or an arcade type game where you take turns.

FF, every game is totally different from each other, even the battle system was different in X-2 from X and SE said that XIII-2's battle system will be an "evolved" version of it. In addition to all this there is KH and other games.
But yes they really need to stop soon after this game flood, and make FFV...
OBJECTION! Two bad games with about 3-4 games on the way, ah yes FF must go down! Versus, Dissidia 12, Type-0 and XIII-2, all look fantastic!
Dissidia is a bound success, Versus is taking its time but I bet it will be worth the wait, Type-0 looks interesting and finally XIII-2 will be great cause XIII was a great game, just not great by FF standards and the developers have said it will be much much less linear if at all.

Ah yes I had all 4 of the PS1 classics, never finished the first 3 platformers but I still loved them and still do! I played CTR to death, in the end it got so overused it broke on me, now it won't go past the loading screen.
As always I am pretty sure CoD will do good sale wise, but its long time fans are not gonna be happy.

Its true it would not be here without FF. The original was called FINAL Fantasy cause it was suppose to be the last game ever they made by Square, but it turned into a success, 10 great awesome games later they stumbled into a rough patch but got back up with FF12. Not to mention Kingdom Hearts which is SE's second most popular franchise and for good reasons.

THANK YOU! Finally someone who actually has a brain. FF1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,12, tactics and Dissidia all were fucking awesome! Not to mention SE overall there is also KH which is something the fans can't get enough of and KH3D is looking extremely good.
FFXI wasn't a very good decision but it was still rather popular, FFXIV was a terrible mistake, X-2 was an attempt at a sequel which they have never done that worked rather strangely and FFXIII was a good game, maybe n...

No. When I think about it the only thing Xbox has over the PS3 is a slightly better online...that you have to pay $60 for.
Prime examples of the PS3's capabilities are God of War 3, Uncharted 2 even FFXIII which did get downgraded cause of Xbox and now Killzone 3.
