I'd rather have cheaper graphics and more gameplay. The thing is, if you don't count EA you'll get both from almost any dev. Look at TW3 and fallout ffs...

this type of game would probably be awesome if the enemy AI was quick and responsive, rather than zombielike and stupid.
Trackmania is awesome, though it might be a bit extreme on the arcade side of things :)
Those are some great cars and quite a few tracks! Haven't tried it yet, but i for one think this is great for a free version.

i hope i don't break your game here, but i'm playing on the hardest difficulty and every time i meditate my potions/bombs/oils get restocked. so simply use swallow to max health and meditate again to fill up..
You may not have crafted swallow yet and waste all your crowns on bread?

I don't understand why death would require a complete reload in any game. Couldn't it just check your physical possition from the last save and reuse the assets? We mostly save before we die anyway (right before a bossfight etc).

Totally agree, i would love a less gothic version of these games. Then again, i can get the game of the year version later :)
