I've never used the original Xbox or Xbox 360 to watch movies via disk, nor the PS2 and for that matter I wouldn't use the PS3 to watch movies. They are gaming devices so its only natural you play games on them and don't wear down the drive. I do however view HD movies from the Xbox 360 via Xbox Live. I don't need Blue Ray to view HD content. Xbox 360 had HD content before PS3 even existed. And my cable company provides me an HD cable converter so I have HD content in that form as well....
So now we know that 15 percent of the Xbox players rated LBP really low because they were taking a break from their gaming and 90 percent PS3 players rated Gears 2 really low because they didn't have any game to play. Back to Fable 2 for me. See ya. =)
If there were glaring glitches that cause the game to be unplayable and lots of them as the writer attempts to claim, the reviewers would have been mentioning them. I will admit I have not read all of the reviews, but the ones I pay attention to are from the magazines I buy. I don't pay attention to crap sites like N4G. I read n4g for entertainment value, like wrestling or football. I like to see the Sony fanboys try to beat the Xbox readers down. It gets pretty bloody here some times. ...
I wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo sells a million Wiis in December alone. That game system is fricken amazing when we talk about sales. Are there going to shortages of the Wii come holiday time? Who knows for sure.
For Microsoft to put over a billion dollars on the side to ensure that all 360's have a 3 year warranty... and all replacements have the same warranty is pretty amazing. I will never forget that when my 360 was replaced and it was just a little over 2 years old, they told me that my replacement also gets a 3 year warranty on it, that let me know how serious MS was about fixing the RROD issue. My replacement 360 was manufactured June of this year... and they told me that it also has a 3 year...
Its possible he has won a multi-million dollar lottery and that is what he chooses to spend his money on. And if he is on a million dollar a year 20 year payment plan, 5 or 6 grand is a drop in the bucket for him. Wow.
I would be high-rollin' in other ways. A nice car. One house fully paid for and invite some nice friends to meet up with at my nice home to watch the bigscreen on the blue ray player or on the HD consoles.
Yes, very true. I agrre with you on the costs as well. I own about 200 original Xbox games. The economy has taken such a beating that I only own about 50 Xbox 360 games. Well, that, and my daughter wants bigger more expensive toys as she gets older. What am I going to do when she turns 16 and expects a car? Buy her an Xbox 720 and Forza Motorsport 5 lol Don't tell her I said that. =)
Microsoft is no longer competing with the PS3; that the next gen war is between the Wii and the Xbox 360? Or is the Wii and the Xbox 360 fighting the last gen war and that the PS3 is only true next gen machine? You decide. Don't you like how I loaded my response? LOL Who wants to disagree with me and what are you disagreeing about? hehe
Not only that; he doesn't know any thing about Xbox 360, let alone gaming in general. Sad P.O.S. if you ask me. I feel like he was writing the article to get some attention or he is really that bad.
He was talking like the PS3 and the Wii didn't even exist or the two competing consoles didn't have wireless game play. And he was ramping up 720p graphics like as if that was the HD standard or as if the 360 didn't support 1080p. Wow, man, what a loser.
It is about as funny as I have ever seen any joke about Hitler in my life. HAHA
I was going to make a similar comment. I don't think people understand. The Cell and the Blue Ray are still cutting edge tech. You still can't find a Blue Ray player for under 200 dollars US. And the PS3 has the Blue Ray plus the Cell.
I am curious if the PS3 really could get a price cut as early as this Christmas or not. Probably not. I am not bashing the PS3. I do believe that the PS3 are equal to the Xbox 360 in it capabilities to release some triple A games that ar...
I don't trust links anymore, after once reading another person's comment on another story here on N4G, where he said, "This site is known to have viruses and bots." Since then I use the Google search tool before clicking links to sites I don't know. The Google search tool shows a red X beside the name of this site, strategyinformer.com I wouldn't recommend going to it and I hope that no ones' computers have been infected with anything. Be careful people.
UPDATE: ...
Good stuff! =)
Its possible if you are correct in saying Nintendo's Wii is broken in the controls department for the most part, its a possibility that many folk may think the Nintendo is the best there is and will just stay away from gaming altogether.
Just as some folk who were 360 owners and had multiple RROD 360's may have given up altogether in console gaming. I was a victim of RROD and I stayed true to MS and it has paid off. I got a new replacement 360 for free 2 months ago and MS t...
I always thought Ivy had a big ass and this woman looks better than Ivy, imo.
is going to expect a cut. hehe
I appreciate it.
That was funny!
if a PC's DVD is the same size as the Xbox 360 DVD. Unless they are planning on streaming the game on the PC only. If they can release 4 or 5 DVDs for the PC to match the PS3 BRDVD size capacity then whats the difference? They can then release the 4 or 5 DVDs for the Xbox 360 as well? Am I incorrect in assuming this? Someone please help me understand.
Very good point. I obviously wasn't considering space either and I am sure some folk have to consider that when making multi-media purchases.
