And I noticed some folk act as if XBL doesn't have dedicated servers. That depends on the developer. One of the reasons EA Games jumped on board with XBL was that MS allowed them to run their own servers, but MS wanted the fully integrated fully functional Live experience. EA Games agreed to those conditions and the rest is history.
One thing about cars now days, is that the companies could send a signal causing the engine light to come on or check oil light or some other mechanical problem warning light that said driver of car would take the car to the shop and experience sticker shock with some fake repair job. Would the car companies do that? I don't know, but I hope and trust that they wouldn't.

I bought a video card for my computer that allows me to connect my monitor and 42 inch LCD 1080p television. I play the likes of Age of Conan, Empire Earth III, and even Crysis on 42 inch glory. My 360 still gets substantial play time, but less now that it shares the same viewing space as my PC. The 22 inch monitor doesn't get much use anymore unless I am playing games that allow multiple monitors in game.
Sony will get exclusive content for the games it chooses to pay for exclusive content. And so will Microsoft. Its business as usual. I would rather there be this type of competition than for there to be only computers to play on or only one console to choose from. Live with the loss and move on. And if you do pirate your games, I hope you get caught and spend a good chunk of your life in prison or pay a hefty fine or both. Pirates suck azz.

I wonder if MS should decide to use some form of motion control and if they do, will they try to keep the controller or part of the controller more in tune with what most core gamers are used to? My only complaint would be the lack of lighting in the keypad. I will still get one though when I get my ps3. I prefer to game in the dark, so hopefully when I get my PS3, a lit one will be available.
I am not going to speculate where but the PS1 and PS2 were not released for 700 dollars. Try 368 dollars each. Both of the consoles were released for 368 dollars in 1994 and 2000 respectively.

The levels are pretty large; every item and every mob drops randomly; the game is a different experience every time you play it and when you do 4 on 4 matches on Live, it extends the life of the game 10fold. Downloads coming later? I hope there is truth to that rumor. PS3 a great system? Yes, you bet it is. But you know, so is Xbox 360 and this game is probably going to be a million plus seller if it hasn't already achieved that level of success yet.

Most folk cannot afford this. Free downloadable word processors would spawn soon after MS started charging hourly fees to use MS word or any of their programs. Peeps would save a little extra to buy a MAC computer if MS charged hourly to use their computers.
