There is no way in hell it will have a always on internet connection or block used games. If that happens ms can kiss good bye all the hard work the 360 has earned. Ibuy my games new but I often give my son my games or buy him used games sometimes. I'd still buy the 720 if these rumors were true but I'm not to sure it would be my primary console.

Unfortunately your 100% correct. Gaming just ain't what it use to be. I don't really want to blame the Wii but it did usher in a new breed of gamers which is fine but not at the expense of the hardcore. I can remember back when I had to join a party on FF11 then had to find a spot to level for hours just to hit a new level. Now since everything needs to be accessible I can just go to one of those books and gain 10 levels in a few hours. No need to party in the traditional way anymore....
Good interview. I do disagree with the "helping out the casuals" tho. FF11 was hardcore for many many years and now its more casual focused which to me hurt the game. To me this type of MMO is not for the casual crowd.
Sony my not charge to play online but all those services that Sony announced will most likely be subscription based to access. You no before when people would hate on gamestop I would think they were just on the bandwagon, but yesterday I called them to see how much they buy back Wii U for. The guy told me 80$ credit and 50$ cash. When he told me this he almost seemed embarrassed. That is unbelievable that they would only give someone 80$ credit for a system that cost 299$ and just came out 3 months ago. So now I officially hate game stop so they can go to hell.
