Bad Company 2 was meant to be funny? I didn't realise with its boring campaign.

FPS are the most flexible genre of gaming, so much more possibilies than many other genres, which is why there are alot of them.
Many may be stale and rehashed, but in the end, many of us love FPS. Too bad single player lacks this gen. And many multiplayer FPS are stale, suckish and boring.
I cant name 1 FPS this gen which has a good campaign.
My list in order:
Quake 3
Half Life series
Team Fortress 2
Battlefield Bad Company 2
Counter Strike
Unreal Tournament series
The list was pretty darn good, except the mention of Call of Duty 4.
- Socom 2 - Another military FPS *sigh*
- Left 4 Dead 1+2 - Not the best, pretty dull after a while
- Rainbow Six Vegas 1+2 - Another military FPS *sigh*
- Bad Company 2 - Decent
- Uncharted 2 - Awful
- Call of Duty: World at War(Zombies and Campaign Co-op) - How can you even mention a Call of duty.
CoD isnt the whole FPS genre you do know.
Multiplayer + bots showed that Volition clearly had the talent for a good multiplayer game too. Too bad, its over.
Counter Strike is great, it is the most skilled FPS in terms of aim and accuracy, Quake being second.
Old news is old. This applies to all modern Call of Duty games.
As long as there is no stopping power, im fine. I dont see how people complain about grenade launchers when there is the other option to use the most overpowered weapon with stopping power on it.
At least Battlefield bad company 2 had it right, having the option to add extra armour.
Those days are over, I have doubt in id with Quake 5.
GTA 4 almost sucked balls. HL2 amazing, GTA 3 amazing, Sonic adventures, amazing. Neverp layed metro but i heard its good.
Bottom line. No game has been overrated in comparison to gaming giants like COD or FIFA etc.
Just been playing BFBC2 recently. Im hooked up to it once again, even though im not very good, im thinking of getting BF3, imj just hoping they limit annoyances like base rape, noobtubes etc.
Save the multiplayer for Doom 4 or Quake 5.
I have to say, MGS4 is one of the only games that I actually enjoyed on the PS3.
Sorry, but MW2 MP v BO MP, no comparison, Black ops wins, due to miles better balancing.
When it has 40 minute cutscenes. Im looking at your MGS4 ;)
MW2 was possibly the worst CoD, since it had by far the worst balancing issues.
Maybe as a DLC for BF3, other than that, nope.
