id tech 4 is a much more inferior engine. Compare Quake 3 to Quake 4. Quake 3, amazing movement system, better net code, better optimisation. Quake 4, brink, Doom 3, badly optimised, sluggish movement.
Maybe perhaps a new engine, but that will take away the whole point of 60fps on consoles.
Actually only said it for MW3, although Black ops 2 does seem to impress me, so Ill give it a go.

In defence? The biggest defence is no doubt playing an amazing game along with extra content. For me, this game is the best game this generation of games. (Haven't played Demons Souls much). Id say as long as you have the PC to run it, the actual gameplay should outweigh the issues, even if you should bare with bad FPS and GFWL.

Dark Souls is amazing. I honestly prefer it over Skyrim as a game. I've put in more hours into Souls than Skyrim.

Iv'e played both. I honestly have to say, as awesome as Skyrim is, it cant beat Dark Souls.
Delay it however long you want Bethesda. As long as the you can call the DLC "expansions" rather than a just a few more bonus content.
An "Elite" way to rip people off. That being in mind the game is actually not as bad as the hate going round, but the DLC content, as much as they try to innovate, just not worth purchasing through Elite.

Ye I agree, look at Dark Souls, 2 year development, and such an amazing masterpiece.
This game is amazing. Sure, i get pissed off with it but that does not mean its a bad game.

Because if you did your research the "exact port" contains extra content. All screenshots are based on the extra content which does not currently exist on consoles.
