This is probably the worst game review I've ever seen. You played the free version of creative mode, which is nothing like the game being sold. What you played was a sandbox, yet you compared it to the actual game and went as far as not recommending the full version.
You reviewed something that can't even count as a demo.
I agree with your points. #5 can take away from the challenge if it gets abused. However, you have the choice to make in that scenario.
#4 is not universal, but there are sometimes many more options on PC titles.
#3 Yes, if people are not careful. It should be said that if your source is not trusted, you should always scan the files with an anti-virus and refer to community feedback as well.
For #1, of course I will use a "Gaming" PC to compare to "Ga...
If your decision is mixed, be sure to leave your thoughts in the comments section. I assume that I know what the general consensus will be, but you never know.
If Sony is doing this BECAUSE of the anon attacks, I think it's a genius move on their part. The internet is already building up a hate campaign against cyber-terrorism because of this whole debacle - what better to aid their cause than to have their relief efforts disrupted because of the "war".
IF that's the case, then bravo, Sony.
It could be possible, but my experience with AS warns me against trying anything of the sort. I believe notch went with java because it is very universal - can be used on a browser or on a desktop - even on mobile if the resources allowed. AS is not as versatile to be sure.
Oh, bioware. How I loved thee.
Console would be awesome. As much as a mobile version sounds, I think my resulting lack of productivity would get me fired.
Haven't had the chance to play this one. Good review!
I want remakes of both games as opposed to new ff games in the series. I really hate the fact that I don't like the new ones. I WANT to like them, but they traded gameplay for graphics long ago.
First, nice name.
Second - Don't get me wrong, I love both games. Maybe 7 had more of an impact on me as the first psx title I owned, but I will honestly purchase any remake of either game. Hell, I have #1 on my iPhone just for the great memories I had with it.
Everything after 7 though... that's a different story.
Fun Fact: the spartans were able to claim victory by their use of the square button.
FF 6 better than 7? We may have to agree to disagree.
This game looks so epic.
That's a really good point, and probably something I should have asked during the interview :P
It's my understanding that programming for xbox is a different animal that requires a special language, but I have no personal experience on the subject to speak of. However, I am still in contact with Ska Studios, and will make it a point to ask them about possible ports next I speak to them.
The original post and N4G submission were done early-evening yesterday. It's not my fault that it wasn't approved until just an hour ago. (I don't have a team of people to approve things as soon as they post.) :P
Also, this is the first thing I've posted here that isn't practically exclusive, unique content.
I agree. He was awesome to work with!
Not too much time left in the contest!
It's quite likely that I will be doing more of these in the near future. If any of you have specific question you would like asked, or specific developers to target, please leave a comment here, on the site, or send a message via the contact form. :)
First, *They're.
The article itself doesn't mention gender - the section of the website it falls under is "From a girl's perspective". If you read the review without looking at the title posted HERE, you likely wouldn't even know.
In a way, it's like comparing Garry's mod to Half Life. I respect your point, and I apologize for the defensive sounding reaction, but the creative mode is a pre-alpha release that was made free to the public to demonstrate the world building and map generation.
The actual game is about survival. You can't just rip through blocks in a matter of moments, and the time investment and resource-gathering required to build things offers a sense of pride. In the creat...
