it's just another example of lack of evolution of the japanese game industry, in particular in terms of visual design
the next Windows is pretty much confirmed to support 360 games, so as soon as it's announced officially I'll get rid of my 360 so my copies of the Gears games can still be played in my house
I really don't see any other use for it, unless my grandma wants a DVD player
also he's Argentinian, like me
it should've stay cancelled
I'll probably play it and have some fun but I would prefer if it didn't exist
it's Naughty Dog !!!
Halo 4 for the 360 in holidays 2012 is all the reasons necessary to confirm that it won't come on next year
allowed me to predict the story: another clone of Snake, Liquid possesses someone else, dystopian setting in the near future, yada yada yada
anyway, let's hope stays PS3 exclusive
@DK286K
you really should give up your fanboy delusions, it's not really relevant when the PS3 will surpass the 360, what is relevant however is that PS3 outsold the 360 almost every year
I remember about a year ago when using my old account I told you that this will happen and you said "where is Sony going to find 5 million more customers?", and at that point it had sold a little less that 50 million
I suppose they mean other reason than PS3 outselling the 360 every year since 2008
it's just a matter of time, also PS3 will kept selling long after MS had killed the 360
not sure
which one if going to have an expanded edition with a lot more content which will make the one releasing now obsolete?
well, there's just room for five, in my list it would 7th or 8th for best of the year
so 57 million in 6 years, while PS3 sold 55 million in 5 years
only in bizarro world people could say that 360 is not last this generation
it's very hard to determine if U3 is better than U2
both are brilliant, but U2 has about 2 or so more hours of campaign length, so it gets my vote, but both are definitely on the top ten this generation
I'm about two thirds of the single player and I can confirm everything he wrote about it is truth
I don't have a problem with playing another short, corridor single player FPS but something about this one feels off, it's too uninspired, too bland, too much "been there done that" feeling, it has big environments but if you try to move a few steps away from the path you'll get the dreaded "leaving playable area" countdown, most of the stuff y...
maybe he should apply for an internship at Naughty Dog
I think next gen will be more about performance than graphics, these will better but the jump won't be as big than from the previous gen to this one
just look at the best PC has now and while clearly better than consoles, nothing that has the gap that Half Life 2 and console shooters like the old Medal of Honor games had in 2004
all games will run at 60fps, that should be the main difference
soon after Dark Souls was confirmed as the title (it was Project Dark) the game's director said in an interview that after this game they were planning to start work on Demon's Souls 2
then it was never mentioned again, probably because he realized he wasn't supposed to said that, I used to have the link but it stopped working
so it's not open world, it's not RPG, it's not very long (10 to 12 hours in a review actually means around 8 for me), no MP except races, doesn't sound that good
what's certain is that you can forget about GOTY consideration for this one from major sites, candidates now are: Dark Souls, Skyrim, Uncharted 3 and Arkham City, and if it has to be five nominees then maybe LBP2 or Deus Ex HR
just finished Gears 3 campaign and I can say that the only thing wrong with it is that it's way too similar to the previous games
the story is better than before, the gameplay is about the same, maybe a little better, the graphics are very nice but the wow factor from the Gears series is long gone
the bottom line is that it's a rock solid game but it uses a design formula that in 2011 is a little dated
the trailer was already in game
