They are certainly stepping it up to compete with Gamepass which is great for every gamer.
Activision has no stake in cloud gaming and if they did there is no incentive for them to share their IP. MS was only doing it to get the deal by regulators and more stake holders probably increases adoption somewhat but that not the primary reason to share. MS wanted King for the mobile presence 1st Blizzard for PC 2nd and Activision for Cod as the cherry on top.
Oh and you understand how gaming works even if the CMA doesn't, Cloud isn't a market its a side feature of a serv...

Its an appeal to the same people so its not a ruling its a negotiation, so it will depend on what the CMA wants to make it happen and if MS is willing to do it. This would only apply to the UK so MS may be willing to accept radical to get it done. allot depends on the EU.

Not going to stop the deal, just means UK gamers will be getting less for the same money
MAU's is the most important metric to both MS and Sony
Hardware sales are important, but its way more important to Sony. MS sells all its games day one on PC.

Sony was trying to buy exclusivity for Starfield, they got Ghostwire and Deathloop before MS stepped in and purchased them . Don't cry when MS buys Square.
