I don't think it's really aimed at people who want to upgrade. More for the average consumer who will appreciate the cheaper price at the loss of a more vibrant screen

It's the same as the 2DS, it's all about making it cheaper. Except this isn't quite as drastic a change.
Let's be honest the OLED screen is definitely better but to a random consumer the cheaper one with a slightly less vibrant screen will look more appealing.

I'm a big fan of Demon's Souls, Dark Souls, Monster Hunter and general dungeon crawlers. We need more games like this

Besides this looks like it might take a couple of things from Monster hunter and lets be honest, Monster hunter is one of the few things Capcom don't screw up on.
So don't pretend like Dark Souls 2 is better when you haven't played either.

Anything like Demon's souls is a win in my book. I loved the end where they were all jabbing that dragon with those spears, I imagine this game will have some epic bosses
Crazy. All you have to do is play the Killzone beta for 2 minutes and you realise it's better than the FPS' before it.
Bit of a shame really KZ is being judged the way it is. Still, it's getting mostly positive reviews and Polygon aren't exactly trust worthy. 6 for Dragons crown, 6.5 for Ni no kuni, 6 for Soul sacrifice and 7.5 for the last of us...
