Wow, they gave it a "NO". That's surprising. Oh well, I enjoyed the demo and I bought it straight after. Getting it for Christmas
Gotta be worth £25 for the limited edition right?
Nah, they're pretty biased
http://www.youtube.com/watc...
I feel this game got judged a little unfairly by the critics. Far too many comparisons to smash bro's. IGN's video review even includes Smash bro's gameplay, which I thought was a little unprofessional. As well as hating on the third party characters instead of talking about how they actually play.
Anyway, yeah. Strange how all the reviewers insist on Smash Bro's comparisons, yet never mention how Brawl's single player was a complete drag.
"Kirk: Yukiko is Daphne, I GUESS—though Rise is kind of a Daphne too.
Jason: You're a Daphne."
Lol, I enjoyed this review
They got "valve syndrome"
PS3 definitely better with this one, the 9th image on Xbox is shocking. Pictures 11 & 12 too
For the most part though, they look very similar.
Lol no way as if he actually got banned.
So all those other accounts like Kaos-Emerald ect were actually just him?
I genuinely thought they were just wannabe's.
Either way, I wont miss the guy
@people who disagreed
Care to explain? The gamespot review was uninformative, nonsensical and was full of contradictions
This is a good review. Its fair and more informative than Gamespots. He praises how the characters control and says they feel like they do in their respective games which they do. Talks about how the controls are responsive and feel tight, which I completely agree with.
After reading it I was reminded how terrible gamespots review was
The Wii U just doesn't seem like a good investment for the money.
Look at the PS3 now, look at the games coming out after all this time. They're still impressing me. The Last Of Us, Beyond, God of war ascension
Halo 4 shows the 360 can still make some great looking games too.
I just don't see this with the Wii U...
Obviously graphics aren't everything, but I can't shake this feeling that the Wii U is kind...
An interesting read. Such an easy fix really. All games should have fully customisable controls in this day an age. For both disabled AND non disabled people
"The point is that Ubisoft Montreal has set out to create the Skyrim of first-person shooters"
I really hope not
I actually think (between the PS3 and Wii U) that some look best on Wii U and some look best on PS3.
Crash, Backlot, Overgrown, Pipeline, Crossfire, Hangar, Cliffside, Jungle, Array, Skidrow, Afghan, Terminal are my favourites (off the top of my head)
Some awesome maps in the CoD series
For people who don't wana click through about 10 pages...
20. Interchange
19. Wetwork
18. Arkaden
17. Wasteland
16. Hangar
15. Cliffside
14. Firing Range
13. Dome
12. Backlot
11. Miss...
Well there were times in Skyrim when I was impressed, the northern lights like you say were pretty awesome. So awesome that I think I saved just to see that little screen of it on my save file. And the moon looked incredible. But I still think its a super lazy game that could have been so much more.
As for the best game of 2012 I really don't know. I haven't played Journey or Halo 4, I thought All-stars was awesome (Based on the Beta) but I'm getting the full game...
"you'll see an amazing world with tons to do, an amazing lore, amazing music and spectacular atmosphere"
Not really, I spent hours on Skyrim and after a while I realised I was doing the same thing over and over. The quests are garbage, the combat is repetitive, the world is bland and empty, the levelling up system is flawed, the story is cliche, the children have all the same faces and they seem to have hired about 5 voice actors.
The music IS ...
Woooooah full marks. Gonna check this out
For the most part its the world & the movie references.
Lego Harry Potter was the first game that truly felt like Harry Potter & exploring the castle and collecting all the character's you've seen and read about is cool.
So I guess that's the appeal
I wouldn't judge this game too much on the 3DS version the handheld games are never as good
I thought the nominee's were a bit "meh" to be honest. Good for games like Journey & The walking dead though. They're so...predictable. Assassins Creed check, Mass effect 3 check.
I don't know, I feel it will always be a popularity contest. It's a shame that some of the lesser known titles get no look-in when lazy games like Skyrim win by a landslide.
Bethesda - Developer of the year 2011. Absolute joke.
I thought the boss fight was fun
