E3 is the best time to announce price drops but nothing is confirmed until Sony says so... or we see it in some ad.
Your already paying for the game monthly. I don't see the big deal with paying an extra $10 to keep your account safe. If you don't want to loose your account and all your hard work then what's $10. That's just my take on it anyway.
But as you said this is why I don't play MMOs. I am just not down with paying the monthly fee after I have already paid $50 for the game. I actually used to play FFXI. I played for two years and decided it really wasn't worth. I haven't played an MMO...
I thought they would never drop PS2s price to $99. Jack Tretton did say it was coming though.
I don't know for some reason to me this doesn't look as good as the original trailers they first put out for the game. From this video alone Crysis looks better IMO. In the first ones I saw no game came close to the graphics this game was putting out.

I am really loving the look of this game. I may upgrade my PC for this one.
That means if you don't pay then you don't play. Forget that I'd rather own my copy of the game so I can play it whenever I want.

It looks like I am in the minority here but I think CoD 4 is an all around better game. From the moment I first picked it up I knew it would be one of my favorite games of this generation. I have been having a blast with it ever since it released.

I had a dos type virus on my computer... Luckily I was able to get rid of it.

Now that I have played the game more the controls are not really that big of a deal but it is kinda slow to turn around. I think the guns have too much recoil. I am putting this game on ebay. There are games with better controls out there. Once you have had better it's hard to go back to something that is not as good.
It's not dumb. I had that same exact controller for the PS3 and I too returned it. It is much easier to pull off moves using the analog sticks. I now have me a Street Fighter 4 Madkatz stick and I must say: anyone who is using a controller in this game is at an unfair advantge. It is so much easier to pull off moves using the Fight stick.
I have the P6T6 WS Revolution and it has 6 PCI slots. The problem is once you put one of the new graphics card in it they cover up two PCI slots.
