I had an original 60gb console. I can tell it loads up faster and loads blu rays faster then the new slim model.
I think Sony could be using an inferior Cell processor as they would not reveal its specs at gamescon.
I am guessing with all this new info on the game a 2009 release is coming for Japan.
I can see where he is coming from. While companies like SE keeping making rehash after rehash. You have NCSoft that puts out new MMOs that haven't been done. I can't wait for Blade and Soul. So dissapointed by the FF XIV footage they showed off at Gamescon.
Went to Wal Mart to pick up some vitamins and decided to check over in electronics to see if they had any slims in and they had two in the case and I picked up one.
Can't wait to pick up my slim model next week.

As TheHater said this is true for anyone. Retailers make more money from game sales then they do consoles.
I honestly have no idea. I to have only heard of the one model they are making. I am guessing since larrabee is 2010 also that maybe the i9 will be the last one they come out with.
I was thinking of upgrading to their new core i9 next year but if larrabee is going to launch next year I might as wait for that.
From the images it looks like monks will return.

This is what everyone was waiting for. Alot of people wanted PS3 but just didn't want to pay $400 and $500 for one.
I wish Sony would just stick with one SKU.
If Sony wasn't going to announce PS3 slim at gamescon next Tuesday they would have come out and denied it by now.
I just think Sony went to long without a price cut.
Why do they keep posting fake mock ups?
I was hoping it come this year. But I am having my doubts. I think Sony would have said something at E3 besides showing just a teaser of a game that has been in development for nearly 5 years.
I would love to see them bring Blade and Soul to PS3.
