Not a single person here can tell the difference between 1080p upconverted and 1080p native when it comes to 360 and PS3 games. So what's all the hubbub?
Gears 2, Fable 2, Last Remnant, GTAIV Expansion, Star Ocean 4, Ninja Blade, Banjo and many more great titles for the Xbox 360 coming out. Plus you know the multiplats like Fallout 3 and Rock Band 2 will sell well. I don't know where all the hate comes from. You PS3 only owners act like you know good games but yet you say Gears and Fable are the only good games on 360. Did you forget where Bioshock came from?
What about Lost Odyssey? How do you determine great? Lost Odyssey was made by the CREATOR of the Final Fantasy series. Every element that you love about FF games is in Lost Odyssey. You make no sense.
Transformers on DVD sold 14+ million copies. Isn't that the entire installed base of the PS3? Blu-Ray can't hold a candle to DVD in sales at the moment. Until prices drop, DVD with obliterate Blu-Ray.
That's not the point Juuken. The point is that just because some awesome films are coming out on Blu-Ray, doesn't mean that it will come close to the success of DVD. Most consumers who can even afford an HDTV will still opt for the DVD over the Blu-Ray. It's the HiFi early adopters and PS3 owners that are buying Blu-Ray movies and that's not a lot. Until Blu-Ray hits mass market pricing, the Walmart shopper will continue to devour DVD titles.
But...but...it's the year of the PS3!
two words...Lost Odyssey.
Wow...just wow!

If you want Valve games do the smart thing, buy a 360.

There is no wrong console choice. To each his own.

Compare the combined totals of Transformers HD-DVD and Blu-Ray to the DVD sales then come talk to me.
Also, we know the installed base for PS3. That's how I know.
[Edit] Oh wait...
16 (12) Transformers(DVD) 14,142,717
But Blu-Ray is competing with DVD. Back then, DVD had no competition.
Blu-Ray market research done by one person using Netflix as the source.
Comical.
Blu-Ray won the HD format war, not the video disc format war. DVD is still destroying it and will for a long time.
