Cat, please change the rules to make embedding videos mandatory. If you don't, others will always wonder why their posts are getting changed after they are approved. I think it's only fair to the submitters to know that they are going to LOSE a chunk of traffic by embedding videos instead of posting links. You say it's optional, but it's really mandatory and no where in the rules does it say it's mandatory.
