the 360 one had more richer color, but I guarantee you that whoever took those screen shots of the PS3 didn't have the RBG settings on FULL and Super White "ON"....because ever since that infamous Assassins Creed comparison, people found out about the FULL option for RGB and now the games looks just as colorful as the 360.
I don't see the need to be jealous about it....I own both systems and I don't even plan on getting it....for one, GTA is fun for a little bit but it starts to become old hat and gets boring after a while....I haven't even finish GTAIV because it was getting redundant and I feeling this will be the same thing here.
I'll only take a port of it..ONLY if developers will actually take their time with it and not be lazy and make a half-ass effort in doing so...the days of saying "the PS3 is difficult" is long gone, and people need to take a lesson from GG, Insomniac, and Naughty Dog....Valve seems to be intimidated by the PS3 or they are really just novice in disguised and just want to settle with the knowledge they have and don't wanna diverse...which is a shame because, they are the ones losing o...
I bet that since SE abandoned its loyalty to Sony and went multiplatform...they lost some of their fanbase...they pretty much shot themselves in the foot IMO by making that move....
like I've been telling people...WAIT FOR THE CHRISTMAS SALES!!!! Watch sales in Resistance 2, MGS4 and others go back up.
@iistuii...
Because 9 times out of 10...the 360 is the lead platform...memory on the PS3 has nothing to do with it....and when devs port games, they don't want to invest in the time and effort to make it better (most of it being time constraints and moeny)...remember the PS3 is a whole different beast which is why its best to develop on the PS3 first and then port it to the 360 so the playing field is more leveled....the PS3 is not the problem, its the developers and their code...yo...
Some of you guys are bunch of nerds...don't hate on the dude for getting the news...good info man! Let see some of you guys do better!!
this should be a lesson to all the whinny developers...GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER!!!
Personally, I don't care for downloading full games...I'd rather have it on a disc....think about it, what if the HDD fails in the unit? Sure you can download the games again, but who wants to go thur that headache of waiting....I'd rather have a hard copy of the game on disc...much more future proof than downloading a game with the risk of unit or HDD failure.
People kill me...first Blu-ray was doomed...then it was doing bad....then it was a possible mistake on Sony....then it was "Blu-ray is not worth it", then it was Blu-ray will not last...not all of a sudden now the sales are off the charts.....peopel and there BS I tell ya....
I guess PS3 owners are missing out on this one....LOL
How can it be a failure when movies are selling rather well in the format...and also the movies are not that expensive if you know where to shop....just use some common sense and shop around...I know one thing...the quality beats the hell out of watch DVD's
LOL...yeah right!!!
what people seems to be forgetting is that HOME is portal for developers and gamers to meet up match make for games and invites..so it's more that just some 2nd Life ripoff (actually it's leaps and bound better looking than 2nd Life personally) so the haters need to stop whining...HOME is awesome and will grow and get better with aged...just like LIVE did!!!!
the 360 deals sounds better......
I think MS played themselves with dishing out X amount of dollars for the DLC especailly if its taken this long to come out....one thing with the game industry, is that a big title will come out...get some buzz for maybe a month or two and people will move on to the next thing...just like online gaming, first Halo 3 was the big thing...I'm sure the online community is not as big when it first came out....then COD4 was he thing...now COD5...the point is DLC good for while but then the thrill w...
@Traveler....
I don't believe memory is the issue with the PS3...the system has the same amount of RAM as the 360 just segmented into two different banks, and its just up to developers to put more effort into utilizing the memory and how the SPE's work and take advantage, yes we all know the GPU in the 360 is better, but not by that much, so its rather moot to debate the 360 is a more a graphical powerhouse, it all about the coding and how you tap into each consoles GPU IMO...If ...
Never cared foe this game in the first place...but to LightningPS3....a few devs back when the PS2 was out complained that it was hard to code for as well....so this come as no surprised from inexperienced developers that don't have in-depth knowledge of the inner workings of the PS3 cough*Valve*cough....for devs at this point in time to be having such a hard time understanding PS3...I seriously don't know how the hell they will cope when the next Xbox and PS4 comes out...I say either keep up...
people keep forgetting that there is still Christmas and people have not yet gotten the game.
Talk about the ultimate union of nerds!!
