From what I can tell the PS3 has a softer more "natural" look where the 360 version looks brighter....after looking at the link that some of you posted with the truck....looking at the foliage on the tress, the PS3 looks a bit more "real" and maybe that's not the greatest word to use but hence the softer look, can't explain it.
But both are pretty much identical....the lighting and shades are where they are suppose to be on the screenshots, nothing looks co...
Ohh..I thought it was...who is that by any chance?
y0...that part showing Raiden (I think) getting his head smashed into that subway train while moving was CRAZY!!
How is the RSX weak when its a newer Rambus than what is in the 360? And not only that the 360's memory is shared access for CPU and GPU which reminds me like how low budget E-machines with a shared memory video card whereas the PS3's memory is straight dedicated, so I don't know how people get off thinking that the 360 is THAT powerful, don't get me wrong, they both are, but its obvious each one is compromising something.
Just because the 360 has 512, its DDR3 and th...
I guess the same thing can be said about 360 fanboys and PC fanboys too....don't forget to include them.
Yeah that's true but in today's technology, its does play and major factors with a good amount of today's gamers. Back in the days, you would bypass looks for gameplay, but nowadays, you have to have both sad to say, but its does enrich the experience of the game if both are on the same level.
I'm sure KZ3 looks better than Crysis, for one thing GG knows the hardware VERY well obviously whereas Crytek probably doesn't. Second of all, KZ was build for the PS3 in mind and from the ground up, Crysis 2 wasn't, so no brainers on this outcome.
what site or information shows that it does? Every site says its running at 720P.
If all these disappointing screen-shots of the PS3 version represents the final build, then YES, KZ3 mops Crysis 2 all over the floor, but GG knows the PS3 inside out , so Crytek would have to really do their homework to claim they are really pushing the PS3, but they really are not because this title is multiplatform, so they are never going to tap all the resources their is on the PS3.
Sorry to say, but the 360 version looks more cleaner and sharper, Crytek can say all that they want, but its so damn obvious!
See....what fucked them up is that they never showed PS3 footage to begin with and now when they finally do (which is close to around release) to only come to realization that it didn't look up to par in the eyes of the gamers and someone from NeoGaf caught on that its running in sub-HD...this is where this game's notoriety just went down hill.
I think they are becoming the biggest joke since the "Haze" incident. Never should of done that Crytek...hope you guys learn...
I can see this game is going to drop to 39.99 soon.
Didn't those Lens of Truth guys already say that the PS3 version wasn't visually holding up the PS3 version, maybe Crytek needs to question their authenticity?
Sounds like fear of getting trumped to me....
Looks like someone pulled a "Haze" maneuver with the PS3...sad, all this talk and they couldn't deliver the goods.
I own both console, but if you think about it, he is a PC person that mainly works with PC architecture, PS3 is a totally different kind of beast, he is not saying the PS3 is bad, he just prefers the 360 architecture, nothing wrong with that, people have preferences.
Sounds like everything is going to be smooth sailing for the PS3 version and I like the fact that they said if they where to ever do a Move game they will build it from the ground up, meaning no hand me down ports or compromising of the system's power.
I'm with you on that...I actually like Luigi's Mansion and the game got decent reviews but Nintendo never capitalize on it...bad move on their part.
Nintendo needs to do the same with Mario, they have worn that franchise and mascot way too thin. The only game that haven't invented yet is "Mario eats tacos".
Seriously.....they rely too much on that IP and oversight other things to me. Yes, the Mario games are a great franchise, but its time to move on and get creative instead of trying to reinvent the wheel with this character.
I noticed the same thing....and I kept going back and fourth on both screens and like someone said in some review "in some places it looks good on the PS3 and vice-versa on the 360". So it seems like it all comes down to a matter of taste I guess.
