All they'd have to do is stick to what made the original good and find a away to expand on it. But this is the Naughty Gods were talking about here, I'm sure the sequel would be incredible.
TR was awesome so I'm pumped for the second but as of right now UC4 looks more impressive lol.
Whoooo!!! Can't wait for this. Truly enjoyed 2&3, don't really remember 1 since it was so long ago but I the last 3 games ND have put out have been pure gold. I KNOW UC4 is will be one of the best yet.
As far as I'm concerned the biggest announcement in e3 history, or at least one of them. Only thing that could have made Sony's conference even more legendary would have been a Crash reveal and a Legend of Dragoon remake lol. But realistically, a reveal of Sony Bends new ip and GoW4 would have blown the roof off the place!
Here's the thing, MS definitely has the better exclusive lineup this fall and I expect them to sell well, but predicting them to do better than Sony is kind of hard to do. Halo and Gears are blockbuster franchises but I also feel like people are kind of getting sequel fatigue when it comes to these games. Halo is excellent but at the same time I don't think it's as strong a console pusher for Xbox as it used to be, same goes for gears. People that already own an X1 are in good sha...

Possibly, and yea I'd have no doubts that it could be the best selling FF ever but it will need to appeal to a greater crowd than just those that have been clamoring for this game. The only ones that would appreciate this game being remade are those that were old enough to experience the original, a lot of time has passed and imo the popularity and quality of ff has dropped off lately, they'd have to find a way to convince those that never played the original (younger players) to play...

2. Shenmue 3
3. Last Guardian re-reveal
4. Horizon
5. Partnership with Activision (while COD sucks, this was huge).
Yes. Cause other than hardcore fans the game will not appeal to casual gamers. And while you may be thinking who gives a flying fiddle, if they're going to remake this game I'm sure they want it to appeal to the masses. Gaming has changed a whole lot since the original, while I loved the game I can't imagine playing this game in 2016 (or whenever) with a turn based system.
Yea people shouldn't expect this remake to be too similar to the original. Times have changed and the remake will surely tick off some hardcore fans lol. IMO the only thing they should change other than the graphics is the turn based system in the original, I don't think it would do well today with that kind of fighting system. But DO NOT CHANGE the story or how it was told.
This game looks amazing, cannot wait! Hopefully you're able to mount the bigger robots and kill them that way as well. Horizon, UC4, and Battlefront are my top games from E3.
While IGN certainly has its own opinion, for the most part they've been accurate in their reviews, at least for me. I might have to play a demo or someone else's copy before I go purchasing this one. Disappointed in the reviews, but I had a feeling it wasn't going to be good cause even up to this point I never saw anything that got me excited for this game. What a total flop. Looks like UC4 will be the ps4s first exclusive hit.

It's quite simple actually, more people prefer ps4 to the x1. It's not rocket science.

Yeah but they also didn't do a very good job marketing the game, the trailers they've put together have been pure trash. From what I hear though, people that have played the latest demo have really liked it. So my excitement level for this title has gone up a bit.
We don't NEED one, but we also don't need another CoD or AC, games like FF7 need a resurgence in the gaming industry.
Another indie title
I have a feeling this will be the best UC game yet. Uncharted games were always about the set pieces imo and exploring different areas of the world, this game looks absolutely incredible on the ps4 so I think those key factors will be even more defining in UC4.
