I actually liked the demo... I might buy it.

Based on the comments by haters one can see the lack of knowlege of a development process. Comments like that wouldn't be made by people that actually have an idea what they are talking about.
Let me try to explain...
Windows 7 already have many months that came out of alpha, beta and other release candidates... at that point no new features are added to the product... but that's not all... usually people in charge of the design and those who determine what feat...
You can cry all you want about "what if" the PS3 would be price same as the xbox 360... but does that even make sense?
* Xbox 360 came out 1 year before the PS3... shouldn't older console cost less?
* Xbox 360 does not have cell... CPU on the xbox 360 cost less to make.
* Xbox 360 does not have blu-ray...
bottom line is that.. there is no logical reason why the PS3 should cost same as the xbox 360... and if that's the case than wil...

The PS3 remote feels even cheaply made than the PS2 controller.
Triggers suck and the position left analog stick is made to play games where the games are designed primarily for to be played with the DPad or Last gen games... Yeah.. the PS3 controller is carpal tunnel friendly.
the PS3 uses an USB wire to charge the remote... but this is very annoying for those of us who have large TV setups... the USB wire that comes with the PS3 is like 3 feet ...

Sony leg humpers say:
* Xbox 360 has no blu-ray.
* xbox 360 Sucks in terms of graphics.
* xbox 360 has no games.
* xbox 360 has 90% failure rate.
and yet... the PS3 is still on 3rd... people rather buy an xbox 360 instead... and month after month this is proven by NPD and other sources.

Price drop got nothing to do with it.
I think this has more to do with Marketing and competition.
During the previous generation Sony didn't even have to do much marketing because they had the developers, the games and the hardware... they practically had no competition.
Sony has not improved their marketing strategies and but things are different now.
I mean you can love Sony as much as many of you do... but even you can admit that Sony is ...

@ape007 - actually I do not hate the PS3... thought I admit that I favor the xbox 360 in many ways.

I agree... I enjoy every time a new hype PS3 game comes out an flops in terms of sales... how about when NPD is release and the PS3 is still dead last? (though I admit its getting old...)

I also love when I go to "bestbuys/wal-marts/GS plus many others in NYC" and they beg you to buy a PS3 because no one is buying them...
