interesting enough... the console war is about games.. yet people measure the success of a console with how many console units are sold... not how many games are sold.. if the console war would be measure by software attach rate... Sony and specially the wii would be considered dead.

Just like Sony have the right to support blu-ray.. microsoft have the right to support who ever the hell they want... specially when Sony had to forced microsoft to get involved by adding blu-ray to the PS3... if blu-ray wins now... Sony will obviously not shut up about how the PS3 supports the already stablished next gen format... Microsoft cannot allow blu-ray to win until the format war is irrelevant to this generation... that is the next 2 years... or at least when stand alone blu-ray pla...

I since I subscribed to Netflix I've never stepped a foot on a video store... they also allow me to watch movies (older) directly from their website... I get to take 4 movies at a time... ge them by mail... return them by mail... and I don't have to drive to no store...

@gamesblow - Do you know why Blu-ray took the lead from HD DVD? do you think is because of technology or because blu-ray supports 2160P? Both formats are relative the same in terms of what they can do... at least as far as the stream consumer can tell.
