Look at digital foundry beating console perofrmance with a CPU / GPU combo coming in at under £200. You could throw that GPU alone in to your current desktop and get similar performance. The full digital foundry build costs £300 and beats the PS4 in performance. PCs don't get much cheaper than that, so yes entry level PCs do outperform the PS4. If you want to see the build article:

Witcher 2 was awesome. I liked it more that the Witcher 3 but it might have been because it was the first game I played.

I don't see how these screenshots change how powerful the consoles are.
What is it with people and trophies. You would rather have a copy you have to pay for so that you can unlock some virtual badges over being able to play your current game library at no extra cost? Yes emulators can produce better visuals than the game being played on its native platform.
I also don't understand how reading a disc from a previous platform could be considered piracy. If they wanted to play it safe they could just ask permission from the publisher.
Doubt it, I have 980 SLI and I can't max games at 1440p 144fps. So I doubt I could get 4k 60fps.
97% of the people who reviewed it on Steam reviewed it positively. 93 Metascore. I think that shows that it is a great game. I personally did not enjoy it but I'm not sure I gave it a fair chance.
I have both consoles on my desk and I must say I prefer the silence of the device over the size. I'm less than a metre away from them so the fans can be annoying. The PS4 can get annoyingly loud which is not an issue I have had with the Xbone.
It's not like this score is really out there. It is sitting on a metascore of 93.
@s45gr32 No. Unity is made by Unity Technologies. The company behind it is huge. It does support all of the next gen consoles and they are partnered with both Sony and Microsoft.
I doubt it will but maybe we will be surprised.
