Dude, No one is saying the cell is crap but it isnt exactly good either. In fact none of the consoles specs are good. They are pretty horrible. If you start comparing specs PC wins by miles. Technology has advanced, Its the optimisation that ps3 exclusives get that makes them perform so well. But now I think its safe to say the consoles are showing there age by running at 30fps ~720p when pc's are going at 1080p + / 60fps +. Mobile device hardware is catching on the consoles and advancing...
You do know hdd's can "act" as ram and be used to store data on fast acess parts of your hdd. So its not all loading from disc. The most important stuff will be on ram. The second most important tier will be stored on fast areas of the hdd.

@legion What are you talking about? They hosted thier own servers... Dice responds by banning you even if you accidently end up in one of those servers. They ban your origin account so you wont have access to all your games on origin. Its a stupid response.
digital is the way to go when its done right. Cheaper for customers. Cheaper to produce. Good for the environment. Cannot get scratched or die.

Do you know why thier is no security on battlelog or in game (no punkbuster). Its so they can test their security and see what hacks people can come up with both in battlelog and ingame. They would have encrypted all personal information.
I played caspian border (not the biggest map) and its huge. Ofcourse it will be harder to run than a tiny map. You dont know what your talking about.
you will put in more smaller textures in a big map because of ram constraints.
On a tiny map you can bump up the texture size. As their will be less loaded in the ram.

I don't believe you can patent something like that. It has to be more specific. And they defenitley cant patent it for consoles. Only for their console.
