I agree that the Gamecube is Nintendos best console since the SNES.
I like the GC controller especially for RE4 Resident Evil REmake and of course Super Smash Bros.
The Gamecube sold right at 22 million units in its lifetime, The original Xbox around 24 million and the PS2 well over 120 million.

Battlefield Bad Company 2 is my favorite FPS this gen. The maps were great and the gameplay was balanced. all in all a great game.
Too bad we wont see a new Bad Company for a long time.
I played both KI 1@2 in the arcades back in the mid 90s. I love the original KI arcade and the SNES Killer Instinct was good too. Not so much the hacked N64 version.
I cant wait to play this new Killer Insinct on Xbox one.
Hitman Absolution and Halo 4 are 2 must play current gen games.
Hitman Absolution has a truly AAA single player campaign with an excellent storyline and realy nice graphics and improved controls. plus the contracts mode is addictive if you are a long time Hitman fan.
Halo 4 has the best FPS single player campaign that I have played since COD4. I was never a big Halo fan but 343 studios hit on the mark with Halo 4.
I grew up playing Nintendo as did many gamers here at this site. The Super Nintendo is and always will be my favorite gaming console.
Even the underrated Gamecube still sets next to my Xbox360 and still gets a decent amount of playtime after all these years.
That being stated I really hate to see what has happened to Nintendo within the home console space starting with the Wii.

Second without Yoshinori Ono there would never have been a Street Fighter 4 and therefore fighters both 2-D and 3-D would still have been considered relics of the arcade and early 90's gaming scene by the majority of younger gamers.

The new Killer Instinct looks good and after watching a few of the character intros on IGN im sure that Double Helix is doing a great job with the game.

The fact is that the great engineering / marketing team that designed the Xbox360 is gone now.
There have been many reports for the last few years that all of Microsofts Xbox division is lead by a bunch of out of touch suits from hollywood and tech nerds that have almost no interest in gaming at all.
Now look at the Xbox One and it all rings true.
The fact is that microsoft tried to tell gamers what they wanted... you want kinect.. you want tv and ads plastered all over a paid service.
Gamers said NO microsoft thats neither what we want nor need.
Drop the Kinect, make the Xbox One more game focus and drop the price by at least $100.oo then maybe the gamers will be interested.
