it has a one piece mod??!!
there is play while you install on xbox too its just not as efficient you have to wait till a larger chunk is complete before you can play
i have been a life long fan of the series but paying full price then having to deal with micro transaction is unacceptable its people with your mentality that allow companies to pull of this shit. just because i'm expressing a legitimate concern you try dismiss it using the " well you are not a true fan" fallacy http://en.wikipedia.org/wik... if anything people who truly love the series would not wan...
i will care if micro transactions aren't abused. not happy about them being there in the first place
wrong the XBone constantly records the last 30 second if you want 5 min of footage you need to snap the game dvr app and start recording. so if something cool happens in BF4 and you wasn't recording before hand you can only bring back the last 30 seconds whereas on ps4 the 15 min of footage is always being recorded regardless because of the extra chip that allows it to do so.
hmm nothing quite like a 30 second youtube videos. fact of the matter is other upload options can always be added on later while inserting a hardware chip to do 15 mins of video encoding and decoding in the background into the xbox is impossible. i'd take 15 min of video over 5 min on skydive any time
"Developers will work hard to use eSRAM" lol developer working hard made me laugh. no... no they wont
it doesn't work like that...
eSRAM does nothing for graphics the XBone gpu is still 50% weaker than the ps4 or whatever percentage it is at now. even when eSRAM is working at its best it can only match but not beat the bandwidth of GDDR5
the power of two PS4's still wont match the graphics of metro last light on ultra. also PC's are capable of running multiple monitors and higher resolution and i'm only talking about a graphics card comparable to the PS4. while the ps4 can't do native 1080 on bf4 which is not a big deal in the grand scheme of things but honestly every game has to be 1080 as standard now
this is getting silly now if you are going to release a product to market it better damn well work. anyhow there are issues on either side. to the people who bought their console on day one...i pity the fool.
well no ofcourse not if the game is not running on the highest settings
they can release updates that will brick hacked XBone's for anyone stupid enough to connect to the internet with a hacked device. on the bright side of things this is very very early in the consoles life cycle if MS find a way to get it sorted from now only the launch window games will be compromised
its a type of flash memory that doesn't require power. the info stored on there is what makes and xbox an xbox and not just a piece of hardware that you can manipulate if i am not mistaken by dumping NAND you can modify the OS and have custom firmware this will basically allow the hackers to do as they please pirate games, homebrew software and pretty much anything they want. from the limited experience i have hacking the PSP.
i wonder if said hacker can use the kinect fo...
knowing what microsoft are like they will probably end making a knee-jerk reaction that will harm its regular consumers in some way the best way for them to deal with it is via updates the same way apple does on IOS
lol whoever was expecting price cuts before then is misguided
" R9 270 consistently hits 1080p 30+ fps but less than 60fps on high." the R9 270 can run BF4 at ultra 1080p 55fps average it can do a solid 60 on very high no problem, its probably because of mantle support
steamboxes will for the most part be manufacture by other companies not valve they will only be doing the controller so depending from who you buy it from it could look very very different. seriously people judging a prototype like its a finished product thats about as stupid as saying the ps4 will look like this http://www.thesixthaxis.com... its only proof of concept
the steam box will be manufactured by other companies remember so depending on where you buy your steambox and at what specs they will have very different cases. for example if dell decide they want to manufacture their own steamboxes it could look like their current line of small size factor alienware pc' s http://img1.digitalversus.c...
not news. we don't need to know everytime someone somewhere mentions a video game
