i know that feel exactly i cannot understand why, reading the bbc's coverage of the sony and MS conference before E3 made me cringe to the point i nearly got cancer a clear favouritism towards xbox. i think if there is ever a time that changed it would be now you are paying $100 less for a more powerful console where you actually have ownership of your games
if you dislike DRM sony won't implement it but publisher may do so if a game has to be always on take it out on the publisher not sony. with xbox it was built from the start to support this and facilitate drm because internet is required every 24hrs there is no dodging it even for games that don't necessarily require it

i can't see how they can turn thing around when the console itself was fundamentally designed to do what gamers don't want and these things cannot change unless MS scraps everything changes their infrastructure and changes their policies. they won't do that unless they see the sales figure but after it has gone on sale its already too late.

how the console looks is irrelevant all that matters is that it's reasonably sized (smaller slimmer than the XBone) and what it can do. in terms of hardware ps4 has better specs that is all you need to know from either boxes. outside of that there are the games, the online services and price. ps4 significantly cheaper and significantly more powerful. as for online service that has yet to be seen and games is subjective i prefer the variety on the ps4 as opposed to the constant shooters on...

i agree but quality on pc is better without a doubt. i am still very fond of my console because of the convenience and accessibility it brings and i'm glad that sony hasn't taken away that convenience with drm,always-on blocked used games and the rest of it because when you impose that much restrictions in my eyes the benefits of owning a console quickly deteriorates

LOL dualshock 4 is in best-sellers at amazon pre-orders and it's f*cking expensive. i know its a place holder value put by amazon and that it's price hasn't been revealed yet but the fact that enough people are willing to pay £89.99 ($139.93 using currency exchange but will be alot cheaper in US) for a controller pre-order to get it in the best seller charts is insane
also keep in mind games that are being over looked like blacklight retribution, primal carnage, warframe,planetside 2, DC universe online etc..
no the PS4/PC combo has to be the best way forward next gen way more games on pc than wiiu also titles that xbox fans think are exclusive but are not like titanfall
Project spark is on pc aswell not an exclusive so is titanfall. witcher 3 is a multiplat so really not much going for the XBone apart from halo which i've never played. so i'm all good.
they already said the gpu is capable of 1.84 Tflops so the clock speed is irrelevant as for the cpu though i hope its fast
iot slows the game down and there is nothing i hate more than repeated animations. just makes the game monotonous
