on this site i have probably said that i hate having to pay to play online the most and i still do but its really hard to argue ps+ is not a good deal, i already have it on ps3. to pay $5 an get free games + a load more other goodies is well worth it. also i think that is just how sony are going to make their money since the console is alot cheaper. a year subscription or PS+ is the same price as buying a new game.

but thats nonsense its not backwards compatible so you still need your 360 and its cables you also need an existing tv set box for the xbone to function as a tv so you need all the inputs and wires from that too and to record you still have to use the dvr in the tv set box. also what if you get your entertainment from a ps4 or a wiiU can you input those devices into the xbone?

not just jonathon blow but all indie devs hate microsoft for the way they treat them when they try to publish their games on the xbox and rightly so. games can't be published on xbox live without a publisher (which defeats the purpose of being an indie dev) and the game has to have sold twice as much at retail then it has digitally which is impossible for indie games.
for those above who are saying the game is badly optimized @husomc and @TheSurg that is the point he said more ram means devs need to spend less time trying to optimise and cram the game in and spend more time making the game better. besides you'd have to be a moron to be given 8gb of ram to play but still try to make it only use 2gb if its there make the most of it. i think the fact that the witness uses 5gb of ram means that the whole map is loaded at the same time.

apart from the cpu which i think intel has the upper hand in, amd wins in everything else most notably the gpu and console market. i think with the boost from the next gen of console gaming if amd focus their cpu's to be optimised specifically for gaming then they will be in a strong position.
apart from ready made home pc's which are dying out and high powered editing pc's for people who work in that field (not many) gaming is the biggest reason why people buy pc...
